I recently stayed at Wrest Point and would definitely stay again! My room was a highlight—spotlessly clean, super comfortable bed, and a stunning view of the bay that made my stay extra special. I really enjoyed spending time at the Birdcage Bar. The cocktails were fantastic and the atmosphere was lively—highly recommend for a fun night out. Staff-wise, my experience was mixed: some team members were amazing and made me feel welcome, while others weren’t as friendly or helpful as I’d hoped. This didn’t overshadow my overall positive stay, but it’s worth mentioning. Highlights • Beautiful bay views from the room • Impeccable cleanliness • Super comfortable bed • The Birdcage Bar: great cocktails & vibe • Would happily stay again! Tip: Be sure to request a room with a bay view - it’s worth it!

Lovely hotel by the sea, the views are excellent and the location is perfect. The staff service is also excellent, they respond almost immediately and are always courteous and accommodating.

A charming historic landmark right on Macquarie Street- close to all landmark interests. I got upgraded to room 6 which was quite comfortable in size. Bed was comfy and nice bathroom. Breakfast is excellent- and included with my booking. Holly and staff were friendly and helpful. Highly recommend. I went on a Bruny Tour - pickup nearby and saw the albino wallabies!

Fantastic trip and fantastic service at the Hilton Double Tree. Rooms and service were top-notch. Support from staff was fantastic too. My daughter hurt her foot in the pool and they sent her a little note and bar of chocolate which made her day - above and beyond. Our only complaint was the breakfast buffet was pretty average and with Hobart being such a vibrant bustling city of beautiful food they need to up their game. Everything was ok and a decent selection, however the hot food section was pretty poor and the sausages were like cardboard. Kids loved the cereal and fruits on offer so that was a bonus.

Situated at a quiet location. Receptionists were helpful and friendly. Just need several minutes to supermarket and shops.

Das Zimmer war geräumig, die Aussicht war gut, die Lage perfekt. Es gab Autopark neben dem Hotel, aber die Gebühr war teuer. Insgesamt war alles ausgezeichnet, ich werde dieses Hotel nächstes Mal betrachten. Personal war sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Das Bett war so komfortable. Wenn es ein Bad tube gibt, das wird perfekt!

Best Western Plus is situated at a great and convenient location in the heart of CBS. it's within walking distance to almost all city attractions. the bed is v comfortable and facilities are good considering the room rate. it is also v close to the City Park, like 7 mins by walking, great to hv a run in the morning. The front desk staff are v friendly and helpful. Tamar Valley Cruise is 18 mins walking, you can book tickets online or buy it there.

Wir hatten einen wunderbaren 2-Nacht- Aufenthalt, dank der frühen Eincheckung. Die Lage war fantastisch, und das Zimmer war sauber und gut ausgestattet mit Einrichtungen wie Shampoo, Klimaanlage und Duschegel. Die kleine Küche mit Mikrowelle war eine große Bequemlichkeit für die Wiederherstellung von Mahlzeiten oder das Genießen von Snacks. Wir schätzten den komplimentären Kaffee, Tee, Milch und Cookies. Obwohl das Bett etwas zu weich war für meine Vorliebe, war die Gesamterfahrung positiv. Das nahe gelegene Restaurant bot zu vernünftigen Preisen eine schmackhafte Küche an, und wir genossen es, die Pferdefallen und Eisenbowls in kurzer Fahrt zu erkunden. Ich würde dieses Inn definitiv an Freunde empfehlen.

We had a great second stay at this hotel. The room was a good size bathroom on the small side but functional. They gave us a high floor room with a nice view - we could even see the water and we liked the Trip.com deal where we got free breakfast. This was tasty and an enjoyable way to start the day. We found the staff were pleasant and we got a bottle of wine as we were celebrating a birthday. There is either onsite parking or you can get a discounted code for the Village cinemas carpark (both $15). This is a good 3 star standard hotel in a great location and we would come back. In fact, the breakfast was nicer than a recent very disappointing stay at the nearby (and much more expensive!) Moevenpick hotel.
