My friends and I had a great stay at The Bealey Quarter! The motel is situated in Christchurch City, allowing easy access to the tourist sites, whether you're travelling on foot, by car, or by public transport. There are plenty of buses and metro buses that frequently stop right near the accommodation as well! The staff were very friendly. We had a late flight (that got delayed even later) and ended up having to check in after hours. They were very accommodating with this, and similarly, when we asked for new towels, we received them immediately. Similarly, they were kind enough to allow us to put our luggage in their reception office whilst we went to collect our rental car on the day that we checked out. My only issue is that I had to contact them a few times before I received the late check-in details. The facilities were lovely. and very clean! The bathroom was private with a shower with good pressure and hot water. The bench and the toilet were a little high, which we were surprised by, but this wasn't a major issue at all! My only recommendation would be to add a ventilation fan to the bathroom, as although there is an open window above the sink, ventilation was still not ideal. The room came with a heater, a really good fan, and very comfy blankets and duvets. We were also provided with glasses and mugs, a selection of tea, coffee, and hot chocolate, a hair dryer, a bin, a little cupboard, desk, chair, and even a bench where our suitcases fit really well. The view of the courtyard was beautiful despite the somewhat miserable weather, and access to the courtyard via the back door meant we could use the hammocks in the nice grassy area :) The back door was a bit tough to open, and we had to actually get the staff to show us how to use it. My only other qualm is that there is no potable water in the rooms themselves. Instead, our keycard allows us to the Lodge (I believe the hostel area), where there's a kitchen and we can fill up. Overall, we had a great experience here and I definitely recommend the Bealey Quarter to anyone coming to Christchurch. It was so affordable too :)) I didn't get many good photos but here you go!

Wenn Sie ein Trinkwasser beantragen, geben sie nur jedem einzelnen eine kleine Flasche (350 ml). Endlich sind wir beschäftigt, um einen Überzeugungslager zu suchen, um mehr Trinkwasser zu kaufen. Als 5-Sterne-Hotel-Marke sollte ein Antrag auf Trinkwasser nicht abgelehnt werden

Das Zimmer war sauber und komfortabel, das Personal war freundlich und hilfsbereit während unseres Aufenthalts. Das Frühstück war angemessen, mit einer angemessenen Auswahl zum Beginn des Tages. Die Lage war bequem und die Einrichtungen wurden gut gepflegt. Ein paar kleine Nachteile waren, dass erstmals das Flaschenwasser im Zimmer nicht geliefert wurde, und Parkplätze kosteten einen zusätzlichen $20 pro Nacht, was wäre schön gewesen, zu haben. Insgesamt ist ein angenehmer Aufenthalt und ich würde glücklich überlegen, hier nochmal zu bleiben.

Hotel is well and good located in central, and walkable to city central and around. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The restaurant is good. Room is great too.

Highly recommended if you’re planning to explore Lake Tekapo.

Das Hotel ist sehr praktisch. Es verfügt über umfassende Einrichtungen und ist um 22 Uhr sehr gut. Man kann auch Xbox spielen, haha, was für ein tolles Erlebnis. Ich habe morgens einen Flug ~ Der Mann an der Rezeption bereitet auch einen Morgenanruf vor, also muss ich eine gute Bewertung abgeben!

10/10 ist eine Unterbewertung. Diese Dinge standen wirklich heraus: -Building-Stil+Size & Garten sehr schön - Amazing Breakfast (inkl. spezielle Artikel wie Dumpling, Noodles, Fried Rice, Hühnerbreast) - Personal sooo freundlich Alle anderen Dinge auch groß - geräumige saubere schöne Zimmer - Großes Bett, gut geschlafen -Viele Tee/Kaffee im Zimmer - Kleiner Fitnessraum. - Freier Parkplatz - Niedriger Standort (sehr schnell im Stadtzentrum) -yummy Cookies bei der Eincheckung 😆 -Sehr vernünftiger Preis während unseres Aufenthalts

Very spacious resort with full amenities like kitchenware, fridge, microwave oven, dishwasher, washing machine n dryer… etc. Good view from balcony.

I had a cosy and comfortable stay. The friendly staff at the reception offered a complimentary shuttle to the airport next morning, a service which I had not realized was available. The staff truly went above and beyond to make me feel welcome. Thoughtful gestures included offering a bottle of fresh milk, which was an unexpected but lovely touch, as well as assistance in carrying of luggage to both room and on board shuttle van. All these small acts of kindness made me feel so welcomed, especially on my last night in New Zealand. :)

Moderne Mischung aus Hotel und Hostel. Wir hatten ein Zimmer ohne eigenes Bad, aber die Badezimmer auf dem Flur waren sauber und gut verfügbar. Die Lage ist ausgezeichnet! Würden hier wieder übernachten.
