Zunächst einmal ist die Lage wirklich gut und die Mitarbeiter sind alle sehr freundlich. Nach dem Auschecken hatte ich vor, zum Berg Aso zu fahren, und deshalb durfte ich mein Gepäck kostenlos aufbewahren. Im Zug zum Berg Aso stellte ich fest, dass ich meine Augentropfen im Kühlschrank meines Hotelzimmers vergessen hatte. Also kontaktierte ich das Hotel und bat darum, sie zusammen mit meiner Tasche aufzubewahren! Ich kam um 18 Uhr an und bekam mein Gepäck kostenlos und sicher zurück. Ich war so gerührt, als sie mir die Augentropfen aus dem Kühlschrank brachten! Dieses Hotel ist wirklich unvergesslich und freundlich! Wenn ich jemals wieder nach Kumamoto komme, werde ich definitiv hier buchen! Der Bahnhof Kumamoto liegt direkt vor der Tür, daher ist es sehr gut erreichbar und die Gepäckaufbewahrung ist perfekt! We had a great stay at Kamenoi Hotel Aso Park. We booked a room in the South Building, which was spacious,clean, and had a large, comfortable bed. The hotel provides yukata robes in various colors, which was a lovely touch for guests to enjoy the onsen experience. ♨️ The onsen was large and relaxing — perfect after a day of exploring Aso. 🚗 Parking was very convenient, located right next to the hotel. Just across the parking area, there’s a 24-hour convenience store called Obentou Hirai offering ready-made bentos, hot meals, ramen, and udon — extremely convenient for late-night snacks or quick meals. 🍱 We chose a room-only package without meals, and in the morning, we visited the local souvenir and food center at Aso Station. It had a great selection of local foods and breakfast options, plus plenty of gifts and souvenirs to bring home. Overall, a comfortable stay with everything we needed nearby. Highly recommended if you’re exploring the Aso area!

Good if you like old school charm hotel, room and service. Castle view room was a disappointment - have to stand at the side of the window to actually see the castle :( Location was great and parking was onsite. There’s a driveway at the front of the hotel and from there, the staff guided us to their onsite parking. It’s as advertised JPY1000 per day but on day of checkout, parking is until 11.30am. After that, cheaper to park elsewhere (JPY100 for 15mins vs JPY200 for 2hrs at Kumamoto Castle).

Zusätzlich können Sie die Kurokawa Onsen Pass (tegata) erhalten, die Ihnen den Zugang zu 3 externen Onsen in der Stadt (die meisten Ryokans in der Stadt sind teilnehmen) innerhalb eines Jahres nach dem Kauf der Tegata. Wir haben nicht Abendessen im Hotel reserviert und die Abendessenszeit verwendet, um Nonohana お野 の Flora und Ryokan Konoyu 温 hotel こうの zu versuchen, dann am nächsten Morgen vor dem Frühstück ging ich zu den meisten Arschlöchern im Hotel, Dann nach dem Frühstück haben wir uns geprüft und versucht Miyama Sanso Mountain みず Mu tiefe Berge みず, alle vier Orte (einschließlich dieses Hotel) haben erstaunliche Einsichten und Aussichten. Wir fahren so, dass es uns leichter war, die Arschlöcher weit vom Hotel entfernt zu versuchen, aber das Fahren in der Stadt war nicht die einfachste, die engen Straßen. Die Parkplätze ist nur wenige Minuten zu Fuß vom Hotel, wir halten den Schlüssel mit uns für einfach zu bewegen.

I had an enchanting two-night stay at this hotel, where the picturesque view of the river from my room added a serene touch to the experience. The onsen was a highlight, boasting a spacious interior and a tranquil outdoor area. The immersion in the calming waters was a rejuvenating experience, and the overall ambiance added a profound sense of relaxation to my stay. Highly recommend for those seeking a blend of natural beauty, exceptional food, and attentive service.

*Excellent Stay at Hotel Nikko Kumamoto* We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Nikko Kumamoto, booked via (link unavailable)! - *Cleanliness*: The hotel was spotless and well-maintained. - *Rooms*: Our spacious Japanese-style twin rooms were comfortable and relaxing. - *Location*: Perfectly situated, with Tsuruya department store and Kumamoto Castle within walking distance. - *Customer Service*: The staff provided excellent service, friendly and helpful. This is our second time to stay at this hotel. We surely stay here again if I visit Kumamoto again.  Overall, we highly recommend Hotel Nikko Kumamoto for its great location, comfortable rooms, and exceptional service. 5 stars!

spacious, clean, well-equipped room. having washing machine in the middle of a trip definitely helped relieve some luggage space. a little dirt and stains on the tatami but not a big issue. will surely choose this hotel again if i’m visiting Kumamoto again.

Very good location in the sea side. and just walk near 10mins. to ferry where can join dolphin watching event and shopping etc.. Dinner including fresh sea food which very good taste. The bed room also cleaning and big size. Conclusion this hotel with higher CP value.

We enjoyed our stays (2 nights) here. It’s so close to bus station (Gion) only 100-150 m walk from the hotel. And 850m from Kumamoto Station. The hotel located in a quiet area, which we were expected. We walked from city center to the hotel on the last night of our stay. It’s enjoyable walk and windy that night. The view from our hotel room was incredible, we could see the mountains and the river along the city.

Das Zimmer war ziemlich alt, aber sauber. Es war wirklich die billigste Unterkunft, die ich während des Obon-Feiertags finden konnte, also habe ich mich nicht allzu sehr beschwert. Die heiße Quelle im Erdgeschoss ist ein Bad wert, der Nachteil ist allerdings, dass es kein Kaltwasserbecken gibt, was sehr unauthentisch ist. Es ist sehr weit vom Bahnhof Aso entfernt, Sie müssen also den Laden anrufen, damit ein Fahrer Sie abholt. Darüber hinaus ist die Abgabezeit festgelegt, wählen Sie sie also sorgfältig aus.
