We had a wonderful stay at Urakusatsu Tou, a brand-new hotel that truly exceeded our expectations. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly escorted by the staff. Although parking was allocated at a private outdoor parking area, the hotel thoughtfully provided an escort service, making the process very smooth and comfortable. The room was spacious and beautifully designed. Communication was easy as the receptionist spoke fluent English. The hotel also provided pajamas and daily clothing, which was a lovely and convenient touch. The onsen experience was outstanding—definitely one of the best we’ve ever had. You can immediately feel your skin becoming smooth after soaking, which made each visit incredibly relaxing. We stayed for three nights with both breakfast and dinner included. Meals were served à la carte, and the menu changed daily, surprising us every time. The food was delicious and very filling—we were completely satisfied after every meal. That said, there are a few areas we hope the hotel could improve: • During winter, the room felt quite cold as the air-conditioning heater did not function properly and was unable to warm up the room. • Breakfast hours could be extended a little later for guests who prefer a more relaxed morning. • Providing a choice of pillows would further improve sleeping comfort. • The blue indicator light on the room’s control panel remains very bright even when all lights are turned off, which can be a bit distracting at night. Overall, this hotel offers excellent service, comfort, and an unforgettable onsen and dining experience. Highly recommended, and we believe it will be even better with these small improvements.

Der Kundenservice des Personals ist sehr gut. Das Aussehen dieses Essens kann man genießen und alle Arten von Gerichten ein bisschen essen, das ist sehr zufriedenstellend. Auch wenn ich die Malerei in der Schale schaue, werde ich nicht müde sein. Dies ist eine interessante Reise, weil das Personal sehr gerne den Kunden dienen kann. Ich möchte nur wenige Hotels wieder verwenden, aber ich möchte Tatsumikan wieder verwenden! Danke.

Wir haben hier 2 komfortable Nächte geblieben. Der Service für die Mitarbeiter sind atemberaubend, freundlich und hilfsbereit. Besonders Mrs. Yumiko Service ist immer lächelnd, näher zu fassen, hilfsbereit und freundlich, die uns 2 Nächte für unsere Mahlzeiten mit Mitleid serviert hat. Das Zimmer war komfortabel mit leckeren authentischen japanischen Mahlzeiten senden unser Zimmer. Onsen heißes Bad war sauber mit schönem Bergblick. Sehr empfehlenswert, in diesem Onsen Inn zu bleiben. Sehr ruhig, ruhig und ruhiger Ort, um sich zu entspannen 👍🏻

酒店位置甚佳，離開湯畑只是5分鐘路程，離開草津車站同樣是5至6分鐘車程，兼程有酒店可安排往返車站。 設施方面，因酒店已有若干歷史，顯得有點舊，但整體感覺仍可以。而房間乾淨企理，溫泉有兩個浴池及戶外溫泉，十分之舒服。員工方面，十分之有禮及專業，服務態度佳。 晚餐是和式料理，豐富而美味。而早餐是自助形式，同樣美味。

Wonderful room, service, and overall experience. The room was equipped with a gas heater that quickly warmed the room up despite the January cold. There were also cups, a tea pot, satchels of green tea, and an electric kettle to prepare tea in the room. The onsen bath was very hot and wonderful and the futon and pillows were comfortable. 5/5 experience!

The owners were very genuine and kind. Although they could not speak English, they really made sure we had everything we needed. Very traditional Japanese ryokan experience. The place is a little old but super clean and cute. Beautiful mountainview from the room. Would really recommend! Arigato gozaimasu.

Location of the Ryokan is excellent and very convenient. Service is fantastic from valet parking, front desk to in room dining. However, the property is very old and the dated. As the walls are thin, noisy neighbours made it difficult to sleep.

Ich und meine Kinder lieben unser Aufenthalt hier so viel! Es ist die beste japanische Erfahrung. Sehr leckere Lebensmittel gut jedes Essen zubereitet. So ein wunderschöner Aufenthalt.
