Das Hotel befindet sich 20 Minuten Fahrt von der Stadt Selfos entfernt. Das Zimmer ist sehr groß, sanitär und Frühstück ist sehr reichhaltig. Es hat keinen Eingang in China gesehen. Es gibt warmes Wasser draußen und die Nacht ist sehr ruhig.

The good: - Breakfast was very good! - Room and bed was warm. - hot water shower works almost instantly. - Netflix and Amazon Prime available on the TV. Can be improved: - toilet slide door emited loud screeching sound which was annoying. - poor sound isolation between floors, we stayed on the ground floor and we could hear stomping the whole night. We feedback this to the hotel staff but was just given a “I cannot do anything about it” face and a shoulder shrug which clearly indicated they did not have the intention to do anything about it. - phone in the room was not working, staff had to reboot it as they said it’s a common issue. - the air vent in the bathroom stopped moving after sometime, was told to turn it off and on again to make it work again. - we checked in the same time as another couple at the reception, we overheard that they got a complementary room upgrade from the standard room (same as us). We asked if we would be upgraded as well, staff just told us that it depends on the amount we paid for the room. But clearly we booked the same standard room? Overall: Room rate was on the high side and much was expected but the condition of the room and service were under delivered.

We have a 1 night stay at Midgard Camp during our 9 days road trip in Iceland. It is our 2nd stop hotel of our trip. Though the room are not big, but it is comfortable, good and cosy enough for all. The family rooms comes with 1 double bed plus 1 bunk bed enough for all 4 of us. The whole place is very vibrant, friendly staff, nicely decorated and energetic yet peaceful and quiet for individual enjoyment. The whole place is very well maintained and It is very clean even the common toilet as I bathe there to avoid waiting for our private toilet to save some time. The common kitchen is for all guests and is well equipped. We cooked our hot meal as well as breakfast there. We can also enjoy the complementary coffee/tea from the hotel paid breakfast. Overall, We enjoy our stay there even though it is just 1 night. The location is easily found with the GPS, you wouldn't miss it. Highly recommended this place. Also, really appreciate the friendly staff giving us a round tour of the place explaining where are the common toilet, hot bathe tub, dryer for our swim wear should we use the hot bathe tub and sauna. This is indeed exceed our expectation actually. 10/10!

Es gibt einen großen Parkplatz direkt vor der Tür in der Stadt. Das Hotel hat keinen Aufzug und es ist schwierig, großes Gepäck zu transportieren, wenn man in einem der oberen Stockwerke wohnt. Der Rezeptionist half mir jedoch, zwei Koffer gleichzeitig nach oben zu tragen. Das hat mir sehr gut gefallen.

Das Blatt ist nicht wirklich gereinigt. Es gibt einige Haare auf dem Bett, die offensichtlich nicht mein ist, weil sie nicht die gleiche Haarart oder die gleiche Haarfarbe sind. Das Zimmer als riecht etwas seltsam. Das Zimmer ist nicht „bereit“, wenn wir da sind, weil ein Bett einen Bein fehlt und wir das Büro über dieses Thema zu informieren. Ich denke nicht, dass das passieren sollte für ein Hotel, das fast 480 USD für zwei Nächte kostet. Nicht weniger, die Lage ist groß und 30 Minuten Fahrt zum Skatefall.

Easy to find. Nice room, shower area small. Room heater not working, they gave us portable heater. Also charged us the tax wrongly but rectified the next day.

Schönes Hotel in guter Lage.Sehr freundliche Vermieter, nettes für 3 Personen etwas kleines Zimmer (aber für 2 Nächte ausreichend). Sehr gutes Frühstück. Den Hot Tube haben wir nicht ausprobiert. Bequeme Lobby zum Aufenthalt. Liebevolle Ausstattung der Flure mit Bildern und Infos zu Sehenswürdigkeiten.

We stayed in this cabin for a one night and were very impressed by how comfortable and well equipped it was. The kitchenette had a microwave and a kettle to prepare simple meals, and the bathroom was modern and spotless. The floor heating created a cozy atmosphere, especially in the mornings. The location is perfect—just a short walk to the sea, where the fresh air and views are breathtaking. One of the highlights was the many sheep grazing nearby, which gave the area a peaceful, countryside charm. It’s an ideal place to relax and recharge, highly recommended! No WiFi in the cabin available but in the lounge in the building nearby

Großer Ort als Ruhestandsstufe in der Nähe von Kirkjubaer. Wir verwendeten Hotel Laki ist eine Basis für 3D2N. Sehr schöner Blick vom Zimmer, Servicepersonal sprach Englisch sehr gut. Frühstück war Basis und ausreichend, Eier, Gemüse, kalte Schnittstellen und Getreide mit verschiedenen Sauzen. Brödroststation. Ich sage, der Maschinenkaffe (espressobasiert) war einer der besten Maschinen, die wir in Island hatten. Sehr schöner Blick vom Restaurant und Bar sowie. Mein Zimmer war für Reinigung verpasst, aber seine Feine war nicht viel zu tun. Viel Zimmer und Badezimmer. Willkommen durch eine schöne Grenzkolle im Komplex. Bar öffnet spät bis 11

The hotel is clean and close to the waterfall as well as the Systravatn Viewpoint. We didn’t see the aurora during the night we stayed but we saw meteors which is also a very nice surprise. The staff of the hotel are helpful and friendly.
