I've only been to this museum during the annual furniture fair every April, but I think it's one of the most beautiful preserved palazzi I've seen. An incredible wealth of historical artifacts, handicraft, and social values from different eras since the Renaissance can be extracted from the grand sequence of rooms, but the most interesting aspect (at least during the Salone del Mobile) is the intermingling of contemporary design work with the historical pieces. A great place to stimulate the imagination!
This is one of Milan's few public-spirited family museums, where Sir Walseki's collection of Renaissance art is well worth visiting.
