Villa Tortorelli is a charming mix between a bed-and-breakfast and a hotel. My experience here was mostly positive, and while there were a few minor issues, I could tell that the staff genuinely does their best to run the villa as smoothly as possible. Check-in & First Impressions The first thing to note is that the villa is designed to work with automated check-in processes, which is great for most travelers. However, it could be better explained to future guests to avoid any confusion. Not everyone will have a working phone or data plan when they arrive in Italy, and it’s important for the villa to have a backup plan in case guests are unable to connect. One simple suggestion would be to provide Wi-Fi access at the entrance of the villa and share the network name and password with guests before their arrival. This would make it easier for everyone to access the automated system without any issues. Room & Comfort I stayed in the Deluxe Suite, located on the first floor of a three-story villa, right next to the breakfast room. At first, I was concerned about noise, but the thick, heavy door completely blocked any sounds from the breakfast area. I never heard a thing in the morning. The room has blackout curtains that provide great privacy and darkness, which I really appreciated. The bathroom was newly renovated with luxury finishes, including stone walls that give it a high-end feel. The room was clean, and the daily housekeeping service kept everything spotless, with fresh towels replaced daily. One of the standout features of Villa Tortorelli is Karen, the person in charge of breakfast service and housekeeping. She is incredibly attentive and hardworking. She ensures that guests are well taken care of, and the breakfast is always well-prepared and served hot. Honestly, if they lose Karen, the villa would lose two stars in reviews. She is one of their greatest assets. Breakfast Experience The breakfast service was excellent. The food is prepared fresh every morning, and Karen makes sure there is always a variety of hot and cold options available. The breakfast room is cozy and inviting, with plenty of choices to start your day off right. The Villa’s Atmosphere & Location The villa is peaceful and surrounded by greenery, making it a relaxing place to stay. It’s also within walking distance of all the major tourist attractions in Florence, which makes it very convenient for exploring the city. One Minor Issue The only negative point during my stay was that the room felt quite cold when I first arrived. However, I reached out to the WhatsApp help service, and the heating system was adjusted quickly. Within a short time, the room felt much warmer and more comfortable. Final Thoughts Overall, Villa Tortorelli is a great option for those looking for a peaceful, well-located stay in Florence. The automated check-in system could use some improvement to avoid any potential issues for guests without a data plan, but aside from that, the rooms are clean and comfortable, the breakfast is excellent, and the staff is very attentive. Would I stay here again? Yes, especially for Karen’s service and the peaceful villa atmosphere!

wow....the photos don't do this place justice...fantastic location. Knowledgeable staff with good wine advice...i saw some reviews saying restaurant menu choices are limited, i disagree quality over quantity, we stayed two nights and had two excellent completely different dinners. Friendly reception staff, going out of their way to assist. There was one issue that annoyed, but i understand it was out of hotels control so full marks for how the hotel handled the issue even though it wasn't foreseeable and certainly would require a mean guest to add it to an online review (so i haven't)....book here, enjoy and like me you'll no doubt want to come back

Wir vermissten einen Flug und brauchten einen Tagsraum, um zu ruhen, bis wir später nach Großbritannien zurück fliegen konnten. Dies ist so nah am Flughafen und war cool und komfortabel. Keine Frills, sondern ein sauberes Bett, um zu ruhen, genau das, was wir brauchten, danke für die letzte Minute Verfügbarkeit.

We had such a lovely stay here! The service was excellent, and the breakfast was absolutely amazing, with a huge variety of options. The cakes were a definite highlight for us. The hotel itself was so peaceful, the location was great, and the pool was both amazing and incredibly relaxing

’Old style’ hotel with clean and ok room. Just perfect for stop if you are e.g. having early flight. Nice breakfast. Met only one person who spoke english. Maybe different siruautomaatit as the season starts.

Die Umgebung ist gut, die Landschaftsaussicht, die Hoteleinrichtungen sind in der Alten Italiens gewöhnt Das Frühstück ist nicht schlecht, es gibt einen Pool, die termische Satonia ist natürlich auch sehr nahe, 10 Minuten Fahren zu haben. Das ist ganz gut.

La Cascina è molto carina anche se in una posizione un po’ penalizzante per via della strada molto stretta. Le camere ampie, ben arredate in stile antico, un bel giardino, ottimo parcheggio, bagno ampio e ben dotato, tv un po’ piccola x la distanza dal letto. La colazione potrebbe essere un po’ più varia e curata per ottenere il massimo del punteggio. Personale gentile

Der Service ist sehr gut. Obwohl die Hotelnachricht Check-in-Zeit bis 19:30 Uhr bestellt ist, sind wir eigentlich bis 9 Uhr ankommen. Die Rezeption kann 24 Stunden Check-in bekommen. Das Golfwagen, das Gepäck schickt, läuft bis 9 Uhr. Aber der Rezeption-Service ist immer noch sehr enthusiastisch, uns die Gepäcktasche zu liefern. Das Zimmer ist sehr groß, das große Bett von 1 m 8 ist sehr komfortabel und die Details des Badezimmers sind auch sehr gut gemacht. Das Frühstück ist im Haushalt und sehr lecker. Das Hotel umgibt sich aus eigenen Weinbergen, die für einen Spaziergang geeignet sind. Wir haben zwar nicht auf die Reise in das Hotel 11am/4pm Weintour geholt, aber wir haben im Hotel Weinshop einfache Taste gemacht und rote Weine gekauft. Im Allgemeinen sind wir sehr zufrieden, stark empfohlen!

The best say in Florence. A natural Vila managed by a family. Lovely place and beautify. Loved it! 100% recommended. Breakfast is amazing.
