Underrated hike
I did many of the non-peak hikes in Yakushima and along with the deep forest part of Yakusugiland, the hike to this waterfall was my favorite. It is a 4 hours round trip and the scenery keeps changing...
Considering the level of hiking trails in Yakushima, This one is pretty easy. It takes around 3 hours to reach the waterfall and coming back. The forest around the path makes you fell like if you w...
The waterfall is a waterfall that you have to walk for about 3 hours by climbing, but it is well worth the trip. The mossy rocks 々 and the tree 々 on the way are very healed. The waterfall that flows on the big rocks is a mysterious landscape.
This waterfall can swim in the basin. It may be a little deep. It's not that wide, so training? You can also be sung by the waterfall like that. I will park my car at Onoma Onsen and climb from the path next to me. It took me 2 hours one way and about 4 hours round trip, but if you have good legs, you may be able to go in about 3 hours. It took more than 2 hours one way (and a hard mountain road) from the entrance of the mountain trail, but I was surprised at the magnificence of the waterfall. There are large waterfalls such as Okawa Falls and Chihiro Falls on Yakushima, but I think this waterfall is the largest 1 scale.
