The 12th Century Comes Alive in Tonsberg
While we drove over 2300 miles in Norway visiting the birth places of my 4 grand parents. Tonsberg was a bus trip from Oslo that dropped us along the highway. A cab finished the trip. Not to be missed...

My partner wanted to see this ship which he did and got on it. It was cool. There were smaller vessels as well on the dock.
A memorable time.
It was a rainy afternoon when I walked along the pier in Tønsberg. I was so excited to see the Viking ships and meet some of the volunteer crew! Who would have thought it to be one of my favorite tim...
Like timetravelling
Tønsberg is the cradle of the viking.era, and being on board in the Saga Oseberg is a way to feel the greatness of the viking ship builders, 1000 years ago. Impressive.
