This is a very impressive dam. We took a look from the lookout where we saw the water spilling out the gate and then we walked up the stairs to the top of the wall and along as far as we could go.

View was good and teh information boards were good. Google tells you you can go further.....you can't as you will end up in someone's yard!!

Important dam

This is a very important water resource for the area. On the river bank there are great picnic spots.
