Back to it's former spendour.
I grew up a stone's throw from Longton Park now live elsewhere. I used to fish in the lakes in the 1950's. Was very upset 20 years ago when I visited with the family to see how run down it had become....

Good park for a walk
Have visited this park many times. It's a pleasure to ride around on a bike, or to walk round. There are plenty of seats. Very different bushes and trees too.

A relaxing stroll round a beautiful park. Lots of fish in the lakes, trees and shrubs to enjoy. Excellent café.
We really enjoyed our visit which was nostalgic. It’s a park I had visited frequently growing up. The paths made access easy and there was lots to see - ducks, geese, herons, trees and shrubs. Café...
