こじんまりとした静かな禅寺です。小僧時代の雪舟が修行したそうです。 何といっても、三重塔が良かったです。 駐車場は、たっぷりあります。茶店や売店の類は、ありません。

年々、鮮やか

　2020年11月14日に訪れたが、ちょうど紅葉が見ごろだった。ここは高い木の紅葉が山一面を覆うタイプではなく、背は高くないが要所要所に見事な紅葉が配置されているタイプだ。山門から望む仏殿がいい。二本の巨木が何よりの舞台装置だ。また五重塔もいい。塔の朱塗りと紅葉が互いに妍を競うようだ。駐車場も入山料も無料だが、紅葉見頃の休日は駐車場の待ちの列ができる。が、比較的回転が速いので、待つことを勧める。
