Many of the forests in PR are still closed after hurricane Maria, but this one is in great shape. It is fairly easy to find, and the GPS coordinates for the parking lot are 18.4526024, -66.5971604. ...
Worth a visit
Rented a car and drove here. Lots of fruit stands along the way. Beautiful area! Lots of plant life. Early in the morning is best time for birding.
Cambalache
Good visit. Natural place to relax for a while. Some light hiking as well. Lot of birds too and some species
Cambalache National Park
Excellent for birders, many beautiful species on easy trails to move around. There's a building dedicated to exotic animals runned by knowledgeable Rangers.
