Really peaceful lagoon with lots of birds. We saw storks, martins, gulls, iberian magpies, and warblers. Would recommend going early around sunrise to before 10am to get the best out of the experience...

Wonderful peaceful lagoon site, reportedly one of the Algarve's best. I am not sure how peaceful it might be in the summer tourist season though. Access via a bumpy unmade road. Loads of parking. ...

No public WC. Nearest in Salgados Beach Salgados Bar (Good Bar & Rste) . Lots of wildlife, fish, turtles, birds, flora, fauna, you can walk to Perra from Salgados. Large free car park at both ends....
