Monument

Located on the Rüütli Square, a memorial dedicated to the proclamation of the Republic of Estonia on February 23, 1918

The square is under refurbishment but this is a good try

The fact that the theatre where independence was declared was blown up in the 1960's is one of many scandals of the occupation era

Not very interesting

This is most likely to be interesting to an Estonian but is rather uninteresting as a foreign visitor as there is not much to tell

Just a symbol of history

Not that specifically looking thing, just a small arc on the small square, but important historical place for ests.
