River Side Park

This was a pleasant enough riversode park in the town of Murchison which sits above the river and includes to one end a war memorial although I missed any reference to meteorites.

Worth a stop!

We stopped to have our picnic lunch but were disappointed we couldn’t find anything about the Meteorite or the prisoners of war camps. Old fashioned little town.

Interesting display on the Meteorite landing but nothing else here.

There is a display at the front of Meteorite park that tells people all about the Meteorite landing and about the town. But I would not call this a park as there isn't much else. There are no toilets ...
