great place to walk or fish
a nice riverside walkway you can camp fish or play frisbee golf great views of the rock formations right next to the resort and just a few blocks from the canyon motel

Free, but watch for the Mosquitoes
It's a free place to camp near the entrance of the Hot Springs. The only drawback were those damn mosquitoes.
