Okay ㅎㅎ
The Vietnam Fine Arts Museum in Hanoi is really worth a visit. Spread over two buildings and numerous floors, it shows art from all over Vietnam, from hundreds of years ago to today. My favourite part of the exhibition is the giant buddha and vishnu statues which are very impressive. Some of the paintings are absolutely stunning and we spent a good hour and a half wandering around the exhibition. It only costs $2 to enter.
It is a museum showcasing Vietnam's fine arts from a range of historical periods. It is the country's primary art museum, the second being the smaller Ho Chi Minh City Museum of Fine Arts.
Right near the Temple of Literature, this is a lovely art museum. The ground floor has some ancient art which I particularly enjoyed. There was also an excellent temporary exhibit. It was not at all crowded which was a bonus too.
If you are an art enthusiast ( like me!) I would recommend paying a visit to the Museum. Beautiful art work and a very well done Museum. For those of you who do not enjoy galleries, you would be best to skip it.
