Island Lake Recreation Area

Reasonable price and many pretty spots to spend the afternoon!

The lakes are clean and clear. A nice place to sunbathe and then cool off with the fish.There are bike trails everywhere but you can also walk or get on your boat. Go give it a try!

Great Area for Walking, Biking and Swimming

Most recent visit to the blue trail area. Colors were turning and it was a beautiful sunny day. Easy access, close to town. Great opportunities to enjoy all nature has available.

Great Trails for Walking and Biking

We have enjoyed trails for both walking and biking. We appreciate that the park is connected to Kensington Metro Park. So much to explore!
