Lovely village and backdrop. The arch is worth a visit in it own right. Like Edzell arch, it really shows the route of queen Victoria on her way to balmoral

Lovely Victorian structure
A lovely Victorian construction to commemorate the visit of Queen Victoria. Unusual structure but very interesting

lovely walk from the Fasque castle to the arch, time for tea and cheese cake from the cafe.
If we know the history behind it. The simple arch looks rich with heritage. It is lovely village, there is small cafe that serves best strawberry cheesse cake and hospitality was fantastic.

Superb Arch
This a real highlight in the village as it commemorates the visit by Queen Victoria who stayed in the local hotel in 1851.
