We walked on the red and yellow trails around the lake. Even though it was a cloudy day, the contrasts in color were spectacular!

I LOVE LAKE MOHEGAN! I have been coming here all of my life. There are so many options to hike or swim and there are dogs. It is a nice little get away from the busy chaotic life.

Well-maintained trails

This accessible hiking area has well-maintained walking and dog trails. When we visited, there were several dogs with their owners and all were respectful of the open space. Serene, natural scenery.

Nice spot for the fam

We went here to get our 4 & 2 year old outside for some fresh air. There are trails for several levels of skill. FYI, yellow trail is not easy, leanred that the hard way lol. lots of fun for the kids...
