Locked in the park due to poor employee management

Lock us in the park while we was fishing and didn't even checked just lock the gates. Not even a notice

Nice location for a walk

We were glad to find this park for a walk, the day after a long drive. It is popular with locals, judging from all the cyclists, runners, walkers, etc., that we saw. Very clean, no litter.

Great place to walk

We enjoyed walking around this beautiful lake with views of the downtown of Des Moines. There is also a beach for swimming, fishing, playground, and canoes, kayaks, and boats available to rent.
