Interesting tour
The tour guide is full of facts about Curtain Village, the history, and the area. He made the tour so interesting and enjoyable. It was well worth the stop. The mansion is full of items from that time...

great historic properyu the explains the iron ore and use history
has wonderfully educational programs in spring and summer esp. fall too. great war re -enactments and lots for the kids to see do and climb!

Used to be a great opportunity
It used to be a wonderful place to visit, attend events, fun fairs, antique shows and more but they don't do much there...its a real shame.

Old Ironworks
History of this place is great with knowlegdeable people. Loved the house with the tours. You used to be able to do self guided of the iron works, but I don't know if they still allow this.
