if you have a weak heart get a buggy

this is a wonderful course with some stunning scenery, very hilly but it seems to suit the course, some very long holes and even the par 3's are tricky, also, great food in the bar and or restaurant

Played houghwood for the first time today. Challenging scenic course. Thoroughly enjoyed it tho next time I’ll be hiring a buggy. Very friendly staff. Hope to sample the menu next time I play there
