Looks simple but actually significant
Church was closed when we visited . It is actually very significant particularly for Catholics since this serves as the baptismal place of St Thérèse of Avila . We managed to take photos inside .

A simple church designated a National Monument in 1983.
Closed the day I visited. On 4 April 1515, Teresa de Cepeda y Ahumada was baptised in the Gothic font (15th century) of the church. Should the church be open, the font can still be seen today.
