優點：酒店的位置不落，看落日很美，植物很漂亮，像一個大花園。soaj很舒服，面對大海。缺點：房間設施有點陳舊，服務一般，房間的mini bar 和落日紅酒是收費項目，標識不清楚，我們以為都是免費項目，幫客人叫出租車費用很高。總體評價：酒店整體一般，不值3000多的價格，性價比不高。

It’s a very nice hotel nice location. Food is great at the restaurant. The room is very clean but there was little hot water so we couldn’t fill the bathtub. The service needs to be enhanced, we arrived but no one there to take the luggage so I had to carry them. The cleaning lady came to our room an hour before the check out time and she put her cleaning stuff in our terrace. Jembe the pool boy was very friendly he showed us around the hotel and took some good photos for me and my wife.

My stay at Samawa Living was absolutely phenomenal! From the moment I arrived, I felt an incredible sense of warmth and care from the staff. As a solo traveller, I was made to feel so safe and seen, which made the experience even more special. It truly felt like a home away from home. I’d like to give a special thanks to Kadogo, Hashimu, Baby, Asha, and the rest of the amazing team who went above and beyond to make my stay unforgettable. Their genuine kindness and attentive service stood out in every interaction. The location of the hotel was perfect – close to the iconic Paje Beach, with convenient access via buggy, so I could enjoy the beauty of the area while still retreating to the calm and peaceful atmosphere of the hotel. The boho vibes of Samawa Living were stunning, with every detail thoughtfully designed to create a cosy and serene environment. From the delicious meals to the immaculate rooms and tranquil ambience, everything about Samawa Living exceeded my expectations. I can’t wait to return! If you’re looking for a safe, stylish, and welcoming place to stay in the Paje area, I highly recommend it.

This is my second trip to Marea (previously under another name but with the same owners). I only want to talk about how much I like it if you all promise not to book in for the same weeks that I visit again. It’s quiet, which I love, but within walking distance of busier Paje. The rooms are clean, well-sized, have aircon, fans and cute balconies. Some of the rooms have just been redesigned, and I know there are more upgrades in the works. It has a wonderful Neapolitan restaurant, which is helpful because you don’t ever feel like you *need* to hunt for other food. It has a perfectly sized pool which never feels crowded, and not being in the centre of the resort, doesn’t come with lots of eyes gazing in your direction. Most of all, the staff are fantastic. They always have a smile and a kind word. Service is good and easy. It’s a great find for those looking for a boutique family run resort that also doesn’t break the bank.

Our stay at Ycona Zanzibar was absolutely incredible. The level of customer service was outstanding from start to finish. The staff consistently went above and beyond to make sure we had the best possible experience. Any time something wasn’t available, they would find a way to make it up to us with something even better. The entire team was genuinely friendly, welcoming, and caring. They represented the warmth and hospitality of the Zanzibari people in such a positive way, and they made us feel at home from the moment we arrived. The resort itself was beautiful, luxurious, and had a very upscale feel while still being comfortable and relaxing. The food was also excellent, with plenty of delicious options throughout our stay. Thank you to the entire Ycona team for making our honeymoon so memorable. We would gladly return and highly recommend Ycona to anyone visiting Zanzibar.

It’s my first time in Zanzibar, I spent two nights at this hotel and a night in another hotel, all I can say is that this hotel is wonderful, rooms are clean, food is nice and above all the staffs are lovely, very friendly and helpful, I’ve been to many hotels in different countries but I can give a high thumb for the staffs of Toa hotel, The General Manager, Lucas that received me upon arrival and the best of all The Front Desk Manager ESTHER, thanks a lot for the hibiscus Juice the day I arrived and the last cup you gave me before I leave, you never knew but it’s my best and I’ll come back for it again in sha Allah. You gave me free wine lucky I don’t drink alcohol I had to return it back to you, thank you so much and I’ll recommend thousands to use your hotel if I have to and I’m sure you’ll never let them down. Das Hotel war außergewöhnlich, es ist ein kleiner Traum im Paradies. Das Resort ist so entspannt, wenn Sie ankommen, fühlen Sie sich einfach ruhig. Das Personal ist so professionell und freundlich, immer bereit, Ihnen zu helfen. Die Zimmer sind exquisit mit schönem Dekor und der Schwimmbad ist nur das Eis auf dem Kuchen. Es ist nicht irgendwo auf der Insel können Sie diese Art von Zimmer mit diesem Stil von Resort und Service finden. Wenn Sie ein ruhiges Stück Paradies wollen, ist dieses Hotel für Sie. Entspannen Sie sich mit einem Buch über den Hammer, die Abendaktivitäten, Malerei oder Yoga, die frische Frucht am Frühstück, mit den Schildkröten schwimmen. Ich habe in der Paje geblieben, Nungwi aber nichts schlägt, in kizimkazi in Kwanza zu bleiben.

Das war so ein schöner Aufenthalt. Zu Beginn mit dem Personal, das so freundlich, hilfreich und an allen Fragen schnell teilnahm. Der Ort selbst ist erstaunlich und ich liebe mein Zimmer, ich wünschte nur, es gab einen großen Spiegel im Zimmer, so dass ich meine Fitness überprüfen konnte. Sie waren sehr groß auf Reinigung und Aufmerksamkeit für Details. Ich würde jederzeit zurückgehen und es ist nur 5 Minuten zu Fuß zum Strand, nahe Bento und eine Atm. Das Frühstück war auch sehr gut. Sicherlich ein 100/10 nur auf dem Personal allein ❣️ Sie haben mir sogar einen Haartrockner. Das Zimmer riecht erstaunlich mit dem Zitronengras. Im Zimmer gab es auch einen Strandbeutel mit einem Handtuch in. Es war erstaunlich. Das einzige, was ich nicht erwartet hatte, ist, dass sie mir 2 Dollar Stadtsteuer für jede Nacht, die ich dort blieb, was für mich ein wenig unerwartet war.
