The location of this hotel is great, very close to Chester and all the attractions around. In terms of the room, our room was very spacious and the bed was very big. However it was two singles joined together, so a gap between the two. This is probably where the good bits end. The size of the room and bathroom really was a positive though, especially travelling with a baby. We had to pay £5 to hire a travel cot and in the end we didn’t use it. The cot mattress appears to have never been replace and was very thin and lumpy, making it redundant. The wooden slates at the bottom of the crib could be felt very dominantly through what was left of the mattress, meaning our baby was waking up uncomfortable and we had to transfer him to the bed. In terms of things that could do with improvement: Cleanliness The room floor was very dirty and could have benefited from an additional vacuum. Initially I put this down to arriving on New Year’s Day and then having a lot of people check out that day, but the whole hotel appeared a little bit grubby on closer inspection. The spa pool was exceptionally dirty. The floor coming out of the changing room covered in hair and general dirt. The showers looked like they hadn’t had a good scrub in months, with yellow build up all over the floor and walls. Not what you expect from a spa! To top it off after swimming I have contracted the Norovirus. Service Our first encounter with the reception staff was great the lady very welcoming and friendly. We met the cleaner as well who was also lovely. The rest of the staff we encountered were not so great. Either rude or disinterested, I get that it might not be your dream job but service with a smile goes a long way. Facilities The hot water takes a while to come through at busier times, this is signposted in the room. However, the water does not get very water at all. It does come through at a pleasant temperature, but not great if you like a bath or shower on the warmer side. There are three times a day when you can go swimming with children. It would be great if these times were restricted to children/families only, as there were quite a few adults sitting around the poolside and in the hot tub. Breakfast was ok, but a lot of the time left uncovered. Overall not a great stay and would be unlikely to stay again.

We found the facilities and service excellent. Breakfast was good with a fair choice on the buffet. We had a bar meal which was a good standard, burger and fish and chips, with s good selection of drinks. We did have a problem with the room we were given due to traffic noise, being too hot and it was a disabled bathroom which meant the sink was too low for us. A big thank you to reception staff Carolin and her colleague who gladly managed to get us moved into another quieter room with aircon it was much appreciated. All the staff on reception in the bar and breakfast room were excellent. The hotel on the canalside is only a few minutes away from the city centre and many restaurants and bars.

Gutes Hotel, schönes Frühstück mit einer Vielzahl von Artikeln. Sehr gute Saft, Kaffee und Tee Auswahl Großes Pool- und Saunabereich. Shame Aircon arbeitet nicht in den Zimmern. Selbst mit der Heizung in den Zimmern ausgeschaltet, mussten wir das Fenster über Nacht offen lassen, da es zu heiß war.

Das ist das zweite Mal, dass wir in diesem Hotel verblieben haben, und unsere Wahl war hauptsächlich auf seine bequeme Lage und ausgezeichnetes Frühstück. Es ist sehr nahe am Flughafen und sehr ruhig am Abend, umgeben von Farmen und Grasland. Wir lieben das Frühstück, weil es kein typisches Buffet ist. Stattdessen können Sie aus einem Menü mit einer großen Auswahl an Optionen, die alle wunderbar schmecken. Die Dekoration des Restaurants ist auch wunderschön, und Sie werden mehr als zufrieden mit den Portionen sein. Das Restaurantpersonal ist passioniert, freundlich und hilfreich. Ein Punkt ist, dass die Rezeption oft umgeben ist, was nur eine Beobachtung und weder positiv noch negativ ist. Die Rezeptionisten tun immer ihr Bestes und sind sehr nett und professionell. Allerdings ist das Zimmerdesign ein wenig veraltet.

Handliche Lage für Reisen nach Nord-Wales und eine einfache Fahrt nach Chester. Hotelzimmer sind datiert. Wir hatten nur ein Bettwäschekabinett und eine Lampe in einem Doppelzimmer.Die Schranktür war in Gefahr, ausfallen. Zimmer sah aus einem anderen Teil des Gebäudes. Ein Lagerraum oder so was. Kein Fenster in der Suite. Ein wenig klaustrophisch. Das Frühstück war nur eine begrenzte Wahl, aber ausreichend. Die öffentlichen Räume und Pooleinrichtungen waren sauber. Die Mitarbeiter waren freundlich und hilfreich.

Enttäuschend Frühstück und sehr wenige Abendessen Optionen. Kein Aufzug zum Zugang zu den oberen Etagen, wo die Zimmer liegen. Ein enttäuschender Aufenthalt. Spa und Fitness waren gut, aber Handtücher zu klein.

Put into a disabled room ,  Television not working properly dropping signal every 5 minutes , they did say they would come back but was getting late and we was getting settled  Shower , drain making a horrendous noise AC not working properly wouldn’t drop below 16 took a long time for the room to drop temperature

Ich hatte wirklich Spaß hier zu bleiben. Es war wirklich ein vernünftiger Preis für ein gutes Zimmer. Alles, was ich für meinen Aufenthalt benötigt habe. Shuttlebus zum Flughafen war £8, als Ubers über £40 zitierte. Ausgezeichnetes Hotel.

Stayed here for one night whilst celebrating a birthday party at a nearby venue. Good that parking is free between Friday 5pm to Sunday evening but they should make that clearer when booking. Room was ok (we stayed in the club room) big space but lacked a safe, a chair and some more hanging space. Only had one hook to hang a light coat and two shirts. This was an issue because I stayed with my wife and we had brought a couple of dresses and a suit to wear which meant we had to lay them on the floor so they didnt crease. Iron and ironing board and hair dryer was included. Lack of a chair meant you had to use the bed to sit down if you wanted to, I tend to use a chair to tie my shoes when wearing a suit, so was a bit of an issue. Bathroom and room was clean, and did the job. The breakfast was a good buffet breakfast and everything tasted nice and fresh. Staff were friendly and welcoming. Would stay again despite the lack of a chair and safe.

Erstmals mit einem Übernachtungsurlaub nach Chester. Der erste Eindruck von Hotel einschließlich Lage war ausgezeichnet und ich habe nur einen negativ von unserem Aufenthalt, der bei Abreise an die Rezeption gemeldet wurde. Das Hotel hat ein großes Problem mit Schlafzimmertüren, die schlafend geschlossen sind, jedes Mal, wenn jemand eintritt oder verlässt ein Zimmer, weil sie keine Dämpfer haben, die unsere Nacht und Nacht in unserem Zimmer vernichtet. Das Hotel ist mit einem guten Pool und einem Restaurant ausgezeichnet. Das Frühstück kann nur als superb bezeichnet werden, mit unserem Enkel, der es gründlich genießt. Die Lage einschließlich des Parkplatzes war ideal für einen Spaziergang um das Chester City Centre mit einem 100 yd-Wandern bis zu den Hauptstraßen und den Ebenen. Insgesamt würde ich das Hotel für einen Stadtbrech empfehlen und würde leicht für 5 Sterne qualifiziert, wenn sie etwas Dämpfungsgerät / Schließvorgang auf die Schlafzimmertüren setzen könnten.
