If you’re looking for a peaceful place to stay away from the hustle and bustle, this location might just suit you — provided you’re comfortable with being quite far from anything of note. That said, it’s not entirely cut off; there’s a bus stop directly outside with services running roughly every 15 and 30 minutes, which does make getting around manageable. The setting is quiet and relaxing, with a pleasant bar on-site and a decent selection of tapas, which added a nice touch to the evenings. However, there were a few drawbacks during our stay. The television in the room didn’t work at all — unsure if it was just the batteries in the remote or a more serious issue, but we couldn’t get any power to it, which was a shame. Breakfast was tidy and kept us going, but it did become repetitive after a couple of days. The pastries in particular were a bit disappointing — rather dry and not the freshest. Overall, it’s a good spot if you value tranquillity and can cope with a bit of isolation. With reliable transport links it offers a relaxing base, albeit with room for improvement in a few areas. There is a confidence shop and a bar that does food about 10 mins walk away and playground for children mostly in neighbourhood of homes though.

La estancia fue agradable en general. Las habitaciones son bastante sencillas y el aislamiento acústico podría mejorar, ya que se escucha con claridad lo que ocurre en las habitaciones contiguas. Una de las noches, por ejemplo, llegamos a oír claramente la conversación del señor de la habitación de al lado. En cuanto a la habitación, no destaca especialmente por nada en particular. Algo que llama la atención al entrar es el olor, que es bastante perceptible al principio, aunque uno termina acostumbrándose. Sospecho que proviene de las cortinas. El hotel está bien ubicado, en una zona muy tranquila. Eso sí, si planeas moverte a pie, ten en cuenta que el regreso puede ser algo exigente por las cuestas. La gran ventaja de su localización es el fácil acceso desde cualquier punto sin necesidad de atravesar el centro de la ciudad, ya que está muy bien conectado con autopistas y carreteras principales. El desayuno merece una mención especial: muy completo, con gran variedad y productos de calidad.

Location is a bit out of the city centre, but located in a peaceful area (contrastingly) next to a forest and a biotech hub. However, a bus stop a couple of minutes' walk from the hotel has a service that goes directly to the Boulevard located between the Old Town and the City Centre (85sen per trip or cheaper with the San Sebastian Card - available at the hotel) within 25 mins (or slightly longer with traffic). My room was comfortable and clean, although it might be a bit tight for space with 2 people. Bed was comfortable with pillows of various firmness. Bathroom was big and well-designed, although the shower and bath might be a bit tight for larger people. Shower pressure was excellent. Tip: Open the drawer under the sink to dispose your garbage and recyclables. Staff were all friendly, polite and helpful. My only complaint is that my water was never refilled throughout my stay, but I admit I did not ask about it at the time.

Wir kamen hier ohne Auto, das Busse aus Bilbao hatte. Es war nicht einfach, ein Hotel mit einem Pool zu finden und innerhalb von LaGuardia so perfekt funktionierte. Wahrscheinlich nicht ein vier Stern, sondern war komfortabel und und der Pool war schön. Würde für den Preis empfehlen

Der Service ist sehr aufmerksam und angenehm. Sie sind sehr aufmerksam und sorgen dafür, dass Sie sich großartig fühlen. Andererseits ist die Lage sehr gut, nur fünf Minuten von La Concha entfernt und in der Nähe der Altstadt von San Sebastián. Die Zimmer sind geräumig und sehr sauber. Sehr moderne Dekoration und Verteilung und mit Einrichtungen für zehn Personen. Das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis ist unschlagbar.

Die Lage des Hotels ist hervorragend, direkt neben dem Bahnhof. Nach der Mietwagenrückgabe sind es nur fünf Minuten zu Fuß zurück, und das Kaufhaus British Palace liegt direkt gegenüber, mit einem Supermarkt im Obergeschoss, der alles Notwendige bietet. Das Stadtzentrum von Bilbao ist übrigens recht klein; alles ist in etwa 20 Minuten zu Fuß erreichbar, sogar das Guggenheim-Museum. Das Zimmer selbst war weder besonders gut noch besonders schlecht. Wir wohnten in einem der unteren Stockwerke zur Straße hin, aber die Schalldämmung war ausgezeichnet. Die Aussicht war jedoch durch die Bäume am Straßenrand komplett versperrt. Das Zimmer hatte ein Sofa, eine Badewanne und das Badezimmer einen separaten Heizkörper, sodass die Heizung trotz der nicht optimal funktionierenden Klimaanlage recht angenehm war. Das Bett war, wie die meisten in Europa, etwas zu weich, was aber unvermeidbar war. Frühstück war nicht im Zimmerpreis inbegriffen, und da Sonntag war, konnten wir das mit einem Michelin-Stern ausgezeichnete Hotelrestaurant leider nicht besuchen.

Als wir ankamen, war das Zimmer nicht der auf der Website ausgewählten Zimmer. Der Kühlschrank funktionierte nicht, und es gab Staub überall, einschließlich auf dem Balkon und den beiden Stuhl, die auch nicht gereinigt wurden. Die haushaltsmäßige Unterhaltung schien unvollständig. Neben dem Blick war kein anderer Aspekt von uns interessiert. Zu einem Preis von 850 € ohne Frühstück wurde uns vor Ort mitgeteilt, dass die tatsächliche Kosten des Zimmers nur 700 € betrug. Dies war ganz offen untragbar.

This hotel came as a very nice surprise and it exceeded expectations in many ways and more . Was a great location and lovely start . For a city I’d never been to they were so welcoming and helpful and kind and I felt very safe and supported . They were amazing at letting me keep my luggage while I explored the city before my next train to Madrid . The only downside was that there were not many vegan alt options for the breakfast so I wouldn’t buy it if you had allergens . They tried to help as much as they could to accommodate tho . Was so much fun Will be coming again and bring friends

Wir hatten ein wunderbares Erlebnis, den Hügel hinauf zum Avenida Hotel zu wandern. Die Aussicht ist fantastisch und der Blick vom Berg hinauf ist atemberaubend. Die Lage ist großartig, Strand und Stadtzentrum sind fußläufig erreichbar. Der Service an der Rezeption und das Frühstück waren exzellent. Fitnessstudio und Swimmingpool sind bequem zu erreichen.
