This was second stay at this delightful hotel right in the centre of Villandry , perfectly positioned for a visit to the delightful gardens of the chateau . The rooms are clean , and some have been refurbished , but still a little tired and tatty in places , but reflected in the prices Swallows were nesting outside the bathroom window 😍

Good location, close by to connecting main roads, and toll roads. Eating places within walking distance, and the staff welcome and attention was first class. Hotel needs a little bit of TLC, but I have to the Aircon in the reception area and the bedrooms was very welcome.

Gute Lage, aber schlechte Qualität Renovierung und schrecklich leere Zimmer. Hof ist schön, aber nie persönlich getroffen hat der Besitzer. Sehr laut Zimmer in Richtung Hauptstraße, kann nicht das Fenster schließen oder sonst zu heiß. Es war nicht sicher, die Tür war schmal.

We add a 3 people room with an extra bed. For 3 people the room is too small. The extra bed was not fixed after the first night
