AAnonymer BenutzerThis used to be my favourite hotel for business trips, but sadly, it’s no longer well maintained. The floor was dirty, and the mosaic tiles in the bathroom had turned yellow. The bed I slept on smelled damp, as if the bedsheet wasn’t fully dried — very uncomfortable. The bedroom floor was also not clean. I really hope Payang management will look into these issues and bring the hotel back to its previous standards.

AAnonymer BenutzerI recently stayed at Langit Duyong Hotel, Terengganu for 2 nights.
First of all, I would like to say that the ambience, location, and overall scenery were truly beautiful. The view was one of the main highlights of my stay. The peaceful waterfront setting and natural surroundings created a relaxing atmosphere, especially during sunrise and sunset. The property has great potential and offers a unique experience compared to typical hotels.
Unfortunately, my experience was significantly affected by several issues.
The biggest disappointment was the cleanliness of the room. Upon check-in, the room was not cleaned to an acceptable standard, and I had to contact housekeeping to perform a second round of cleaning. While the housekeeping team responded, guests should not have to request additional cleaning upon arrival. Cleanliness is a basic expectation for any accommodation.
Another concern was the maintenance of the surrounding area. The grass around the property was quite long and appeared untrimmed. As a guest, this raised concerns about the possibility of snakes, insects, or other animals entering the vicinity of the rooms. Regular landscaping and maintenance would greatly improve both safety and the overall appearance of the property.
The most frustrating issue, however, was the ongoing renovation work at the neighbouring unit/building. There was significant construction noise starting early in the morning during both days of my stay. What made this more disappointing was that guests were not informed beforehand about the renovation activities. Had I known in advance, I could have managed my expectations or made a different booking decision. Transparency regarding major renovation works is important, especially for guests who choose this property expecting a peaceful and relaxing getaway.
Overall, I genuinely enjoyed the beautiful view, strategic location, and unique atmosphere of the hotel. However, the cleanliness issues, lack of landscape maintenance, and unannounced renovation noise greatly affected the experience. I left feeling both impressed by the property’s potential and disappointed by the management’s attention to guest comfort.
I sincerely hope management takes these concerns seriously, as with better maintenance, communication, and housekeeping standards, this could be a truly exceptional place to stay in Terengganu.

GGastnutzerBeim Einchecken im Hotel informierte uns die Rezeption über anstehende Renovierungsarbeiten, die zwischen 8:00 und 18:00 Uhr zu Lärmbelästigung führen könnten. Man fragte uns, ob wir stattdessen ins benachbarte Ming Paragon Hotel wechseln möchten, und ich stimmte zu.
Beide Hotels teilen sich denselben Parkplatz. Bei der Buchung wurde angegeben, dass das Parken kostenlos sei. Tatsächlich wird jedoch eine Gebühr von 2,20 RM pro Tag erhoben, was an sich akzeptabel ist. Das Problem ist, dass wir jedes Mal, wenn wir den Parkplatz verlassen, die Rezeption informieren müssen.
Heute Morgen reiste ich frühzeitig ab, und die Rezeption war unbesetzt. Es war zwar eine Telefonnummer angegeben, aber als ich anrief, war das Telefon ausgeschaltet! Da ich keine andere Wahl hatte, musste ich abreisen und mir wurden 8,00 RM Parkgebühren berechnet.
Als ich ins Hotel zurückkehrte und dem Rezeptionisten die Situation erklärte, teilte er mir mit, dass dies die Gebühr des Parkplatzbetreibers sei und das Geld nicht erstattet werden könne!?

IiamshasvinI stayed at this modest 2.5-star hotel for a short solo trip, booking a single queen bedroom with fairly grounded expectations—and overall, it delivered exactly what that rating implies: functional, slightly worn, but serviceable if you’re not chasing luxury.
The room itself was compact but not claustrophobic. The queen bed was the highlight—surprisingly comfortable with decent mattress support, though the linens felt a bit overused and lacked that crisp, fresh-hotel feel. Pillows were average at best; not terrible, but not something you’d sink into after a long day. Cleanliness was acceptable on the surface—floors swept, bathroom usable—but closer inspection revealed minor lapses like faint stains on the curtains and dust gathering in less obvious corners.
The bathroom was small and purely utilitarian. Water pressure was inconsistent, fluctuating between decent and frustrating, and the hot water took its time to stabilize. Basic toiletries were provided, but clearly low-tier. Towels were clean but slightly rough, suggesting they’ve been through too many wash cycles.
Amenities were minimal: a small TV with limited channels, a kettle, and a couple of power outlets (not ideally placed). Wi-Fi was available but unreliable during peak hours, which could be an issue if you rely on it for work or streaming.
Service was polite but not particularly proactive. Check-in was smooth, staff were courteous when approached, but there was little initiative in anticipating guest needs. Housekeeping did the bare minimum—bed made, trash cleared—but didn’t go beyond that.
Noise insulation was mediocre. Depending on your room location, you might hear hallway movement or distant traffic, which can interrupt sleep if you’re a light sleeper.
In summary, this is a no-frills, budget-friendly stay that meets basic needs without exceeding expectations. It’s suitable for short stays, solo travelers, or anyone prioritizing cost over comfort. Just don’t walk in expecting refinement—you’re paying for practicality, not polish.

Cons - their room situation is very very bad. Need to renovate. So old furniture and everything inside the room.feels like it will break now.Also smelly.The door even the bed everything is half broken already. Even it was rusting inside.
So I will say it’s not worth it with the price we paid for one night in this room.
Suggestion- your resort is big also attractive. Please do some renovations so you can attract more guests also can give them a better experience thank you.

MMOHD DAHLAN BIN MOHD NOOROutdated and old hotel, but still the best in this location. Good facilities and easy check in process. Brought my kids for swimming, very big pools and friendly staff. Near to Mesra Mall too. If you drive an EV, the hotel doesn’t have EV Charger but u can go to Petronas Rantau with 150kW Gentari on it, just 7km from the hotel. We will come again in the future.
