Die Lage hat mir sehr gut gefallen. Wenn Sie mit dem Auto dorthin fahren, müssen Sie über die Fähigkeiten eines professionellen Fahrers verfügen. Die Aussicht aus den oberen Zimmern ist sehr schön. Derzeit wird das im Hotel befindliche Schwimmbad bis zum 30. November renoviert. Dafür steht allen Hotelgästen ein tiefer gelegenes Schwimmbad zur Verfügung und es bietet sich ein wunderschöner Ausblick auf die Berge. Sehr gute Fotos vom Loungepool, sehr zu empfehlen. Preislich liegt es wohl im Mittelfeld aller in der Gegend angebotenen, qualitativ ist das Hotel sehr ruhig, nicht weit von der nächsten Straße entfernt, runter zum Cafe sind wir in 6-7 Minuten gelaufen, das sollte man berücksichtigen wenn man kein sportlicher Mensch ist. Es wird schwierig für Sie. Morgen gibt es für den durchschnittlichen Europäer und Amerikaner Spiegeleier, Würstchen und Salat. Nichts Überflüssiges. Un séjour agréable avec une belle terrasse, mais plusieurs points à améliorer Nous avons séjourné au Mount Crest à Ella. La chambre était fonctionnelle, propre, avec des lits confortables, ce qui est très appréciable. En revanche, l’espace était assez restreint, et il n’y avait pas vraiment de place pour poser nos affaires, ce qui rendait l’organisation un peu compliquée. La salle de bain était propre mais l’eau de la douche arrivait en simple filet, ce qui n’est pas idéal. À l’extérieur, en revanche, c’était un vrai plaisir : une belle terrasse, du soleil, un hamac parfait pour se détendre et profiter du calme de la nature autour. La propriétaire et sa fille sont adorables, très présentes, chaleureuses et serviables. Leur gentillesse a vraiment marqué notre séjour. Côté rapport qualité-prix, c’est excellent pour ce que c’est : simple, propre, bien situé et abordable. Quelques points négatifs tout de même : – L’odeur de cigarette provenant des gens qui fument dans les couloirs peut entrer dans la chambre selon le vent. – L’insonorisation est très faible : on entend clairement les gens parler et rentrer la nuit dans les couloirs, ce qui peut perturber le sommeil. – L’endroit n’est pas forcément très accessible si vous recherchez beaucoup de confort ou d’espace. Dans l’ensemble, un séjour correct, avec un accueil exceptionnel, une terrasse agréable, un bon rapport qualité-prix, mais certaines améliorations permettraient de rendre l’expérience plus confortable.

Our recent stay at Mandara Rosen Yala was a genuinely pleasant experience. The hotel's commitment to cleanliness was evident, and the staff were consistently helpful, making our visit thoroughly enjoyable. Breakfast each morning provided a good start to the day, while the dinner buffet was particularly impressive, offering a fabulous spread that was a highlight of our evenings. The hotel's serene atmosphere allowed us to relax and recharge, which was much appreciated after exploring the local area. We felt welcomed and valued as guests throughout our stay, thanks to the attentive service. If our travels bring us back to Kataragama, Mandara Rosen Yala will certainly be our hotel of choice once more. It's an establishment that promises comfort and excellent dining experiences.

Am Anfang wurde unsere Hotelbestätigung nicht gefunden. Nach wenigen Minuten bekamen wir doch unsere Zimmer. Der Potie war sehr nett .

This hotel is amazing! We loved it, the only thing to note is that it’s quite a journey from Ella (around 45 mins). I would suggest staying at Ella for 1 night or so and experiencing that, then visiting and unwinding here. The staff, food and room were all fantastic.

Dowa Elegance Resort is a peaceful retreat surrounded by beautiful nature. The rooms are clean and comfortable, the staff is very kind and attentive, and the atmosphere is perfect for relaxation. A great place to enjoy the beauty of Sri Lanka with warm hospitality.

We had a lovely stay at Ella Rawana Den Hotel in Ella. The location is excellent — just a short walk to town, making it very convenient for restaurants, cafes and exploring the area. One of the highlights was the beautiful balcony view overlooking the lush green hills. It was the perfect place to relax in the morning or evening. The room was big, clean and comfortable, and the staff were very friendly and welcoming throughout our stay. However, it’s important for older guests or anyone with mobility issues to know that the hotel is located up a very steep hill. Cars and tuk-tuks cannot access the property directly, so you need to walk up, which can be challenging — especially with heavy luggage. Because of this, it may not be suitable for elderly or disabled travellers. One small improvement would be for the hotel to provide a hairdryer in the rooms, as this would be very helpful for female guests. Overall, a great stay with beautiful views and kind staff — just be prepared for the steep climb!

Lovely property with its kinks. The property is in the middle of the jungle and the views are lovely and the hospitality is quite nice. However, it comes with its set of challenges like power cut, mosquitoes. Not suitable during the rainy season. The entry to the property is very uncomfortable through the truck. But the gondola ride is quite pleasant. It’s a lovely property during the day. Not very nice during the night. It’s a true living in the jungle experience.
