Lage ist eine kurze Fahrt von der Stadt, und es gibt einige nahegelegene Essen. Das Frühstück ist gut und die Dachterrasse hat einen guten Blick. Das Zimmer ist geräumig und das Bett ist komfortabel. Aber es kann mit einem Gepäckstand.

Das Hotel liegt in einer guten Lage zur Stadt und das Personal war sehr freundlich. Ich würde nicht empfehlen, das Standardzimmer, da es sehr klein und fühlte sich klaustrophobisch, wir versuchten, den Tag, an dem wir da waren, zu aktualisieren, aber sie wurden leider vollständig reserviert, da ein Paar mit zwei Koffer gab es keinen Raum irgendwie und sehr begrenzt Aufhängen des Raums so musste die Taschen auf dem Boden offen lassen und über sie klettern, um sich zu bewegen. Der Luftkon hatte aus ihm gewachsen und hinterließ den Raum schrecklich riechen. Wir hatten auch nur zwei Handtücher, die nur einmal alle drei Tage geändert werden, es wäre schön gewesen, einen Handtücher zu bekommen, so dass Sie nicht den einzelnen Handtücher für alles verwenden. Dies gilt auch für Poolhandtücher, die nur einmal alle drei Tage ändert werden. Ich denke, das Hotel würde von einer Gesamtfrischung, Malerei usw. und dem Pool, das häufiger gereinigt werden, auch wenn das Wasser klar war, es gab grüne Formen um die Seiten und die weißen Pool-Lounges. Ich würde nicht sagen, dass unser Zimmer 4 Sterne war, aber das könnte auf den größeren Zimmern basiert sein, die verfügbar sind.

AAnastasia123Ich blieb hier mit meiner Mutter für eine Nacht, und wir waren beide sehr beeindruckt. Der Wert für Geld war ausgezeichnet, und das Zimmer überstieg eigentlich meine Erwartungenit sah sogar besser im realen Leben als in den Fotos. Wir hatten einen schönen Blick vom Fenster, und die Lage war perfekt: ruhig, nur zwei Minuten zu Fuß zum Strand. Das gleiche für Busshalte nach Chania. Das Zimmer war so freundlich, freundlich und hilfsbereit, dass wir uns sehr begrüßen konnten. Es fühlte sich mehr als eine kleine Wohnung, komplett mit einer Küche und einem geräumigen Balkon, wo wir wirklich genossen, Zeit zu verbringen. Wir mögen es so sehr, dass wir unseren Aufenthalt sogar verlängern wollten, aber leider waren die Zimmer bereits vollständig für unsere Termine reserviert. Insgesamt, eine wunderbare Erfahrung und ein Ort, den ich definitiv empfehlen würde.

GGastnutzerDies ist ein sehr gut geführtes Hotel mit einer sehr guten Lage, ganz in der Nähe des Piers und fünf Gehminuten vom Archäologischen Museum entfernt. Das Frühstück ist sehr gut, die Einrichtungen sind vollständig, der Preis ist nicht teuer und der Preis -Leistungsverhältnis ist sehr hoch. Als ich am 1. Juni eincheckte, gab es ein freundliches Personal an der Rezeption, das geduldig viele Fragen zur Reise nach Heraklion beantwortete und mir half, mein Fährticket nach Santorini auszudrucken. Und ich danke ihm!

GGastnutzerWe stayed here for 4 nights. I had booked a sea view room, but they said it was upgraded to a room with a jacuzzi. While the jacuzzi was nice and relaxing, the sea view was quite limited, which was a bit disappointing. The property is located in a remote and peaceful part of the island. It has excellent internet access and a decent outdoor gym. Since it is right by the sea, you can enjoy walking or running along the coast to the nearest town, Mavrikianon. One important thing to mention is that the property does not have direct access to the sea. To swim, you need to go to either Plaka Beach, which requires a minimum spend of €40 per person to use the sunbeds, or to Mavrikianon Beach, which is much more affordable at €5 per person for the entire day. Mavrikianon Beach is very pleasant and close to markets where you can buy drinks. There are also some good food and drink spots nearby, such as Rudi’s Bar, a British-style pub, and Porto Rino, which serves great pizzas. Make sure to skip Nico’s Fish Tavern and try the Ferryman instead — you won’t regret it. What we found most frustrating was the lack of mosquito screens on the windows. Sleeping with the windows open was not really an option, even though the natural breeze was wonderful. Our room had air conditioning, but we tend to get sick sleeping with it on. There was a ceiling fan as well, but it is a shame to miss out on the fresh air simply because of a missing screen. The breakfast was also a disappointment. There were very few options, the coffee was not good, and the omelettes were overcooked. The most inconvenient part of our stay was the parking system. You have to check in and out with security every time, which felt excessive and time-consuming. It gave the impression of entering a high-security zone, not a relaxing holiday resort. Overall, it was a good experience with some nice features, but for the price, it lacks comfort and convenience in a few key areas. .

GGrimI knew as soon as I heard goats with their little bells on that I’d like this place. Quiet, quaint, country accomodation on the way to Samaria Gorge. The family who run it were all lovely, and mum even made me up a picnic to take on the hike before dad gave us a lift to the starting point. Maybe it’s because it never happens back home, but I ordered a beer downstairs upon arrival, and got given free olives - that made my absolute day and, though previously incorruptible, my loyalty was bought instantly and totally. I also had the rabbit fry up thingo, which tasted great, although the salad itself was even better, though it curse my carnivorous tongue to say it. The bedroom had a great balcony for looking out over the green and rocky hills. Bed was super comfy, and it actually was a little colder way up in the Omalos elevation (in June) which made sleep come very easily for those like me who run hot. Big fluffy blanket in the cupboard though for those of you who like to be warmer. The bathroom is a bit small and being on the tall end of the height spectrum I had to be wary not to knock myself out on the hand basin when using the toilet. But if you’re under 6 foot you’ll patting your genetics on their small back. The building is relatively old so expect to hear some footfalls as other guests go past your room, but other than that, blissfully quiet overnight. The daughter of the family speaks really good English which helped a couple times, when regretfully I seemed to have forgotten all my Greek (which I rudely hadn’t learned prior to arriving). I can’t recommend this homely hotel enough, so if you’re on your way to hike the gorge, park your car here and stay the night. Then stay in Agia Romelli at the very end of the hike. Then come back to Omalos the next day and get some home style cooking back into your weary body. Or whatever floats your ferry.

GGastnutzerIt was not peak season, maybe because of that staffs were not so prepared. I waited long time for the pick up from the reception to the hotel room, same for when I tried to ask for an umbrella and other information. Staffs seemed always busy talking on the phone or with each other. My door had some problems , you need some skills to open it, the shuttle bus driver spent five minutes opening it. Staffs in the restaurants were friendly, fairly speaking, the buffet restaurant was quite nice, catering diverse and delicious food. The seafood restaurant served a set menu, for which I held high expectations since I was only allowed to replace one buffet dinner for a la cart restaurant. Food itself was fair, albeit overseasoned( to me was too salty), and two or three dishes will be served at the same time and honestly they were not even hot. Room service was very efficient and the room was always clean. Private pool was nice, thought it was cold and windy now. So check the weather before going, sunny days and rainy ones are totally different experience. Hotel beach was beautiful, but again, I didn’t get my Paloma cocktail after waiting for half an hour. They provided interesting shows in the evening , I pitifully missed it but you need to have a look, performer are quite passionate. And about transportation, you can choose either hotel’s pickup that is expensive but convenient, or the local bus ( i chose KTEL, it’s very comfortable but please check the timetable on the website). This place is distant to everywhere, you can use a nearby supermarket that has everything at a fair price. If possible, you’d better rent a car, which could significantly improve your experience . I didn’t enjoy myself this time, somehow because of my personal affairs, hopefully you have a good time there!

Mmasle4koWe stayed in Sunrise apartments in the beginning of June. First of all I'd like to say a huge thank you to Nicko and Tonya, the hotel manager and his wife. They are amazing people,very welcoming, friendly, knowledgeable and professional. They made us feel at home during our stay. The hotel itself is located on a hill, but that's what gives you the best view of sunset and sunrise. They have a beautiful rooftop terrace with sunbeds, umbrellas, tables and chairs. It's a Beautiful spot with sea and mountain views to watch the sunset and have dinner in a relaxing atmosphere. The room was very clean and spacious with everything you needed and it was cleaned 4 times during our stay(10 days). All bedding and towels changed every time they cleaned the room. The cleaner was amazing too. She did such a great job. The pool was very clean and very pleasant, the water check was done by Nicko daily. Plenty of sunbeds around the pool. The hotel was approximately a 10 minute walk to the beach and a 5 minutes walk to the supermarket, which was quite good and had everything we needed. Restaurants and taverns are all located within walking distance,but if you want to rent a car or scooter, Nicko will help you with that too. He is very approachable and helpful. We were very happy with our choice of accommodation and highly recommend Sunrise apartments to other guests. Thank you Nicko for everything you have done for us and put up with us all 10 days and made our Crete experience unforgettable.
