We had a lovely weekend away in Apolla Bay The Motel was in a excellent location , only minutes walking distance to shops & Restaurants Comfortable bed & lovely clean Will definitely go there again

I recently stayed at the Best Western Airport Motel & Convention Centre and had a mixed experience. The location was convenient, and the reception staff were friendly and helpful. However, I was disappointed by the cleanliness of the room. There were spiders and signs of poor housekeeping, which made my stay less comfortable than expected. While the hotel offers good service and a decent location, the room cleanliness needs improvement. Room number 41.

Das Zimmer war wirklich geräumig und die Küche kam mit grundlegenden Speisen, nämlich Salz und Pfeffer. Es gab Tonnen von Cockatoos am Vorhang am Morgen, so dass es ein wenig laut sein kann, aber die meisten Menschen würden normalerweise bis dahin auf, so dass es gut sein sollte.

I had a really wonderful time in the great location of Beechworth.  From Beechworth I drove to other great points of interest namely Yackandandah and Bright. I walked along the Canyon Walk in Bright, followed along the Beechworth Gorge and the Woolshed Falls.  The Sambell Lake had a very good walking track around it. Both Beechworth and Yackandandah had great shops and eateries. The Armour Motor Inn was very central for my 3 day stay and the host was very helpful.

Sehr gut, WLAN ist schnell

The place is very nice and may stay again in future. My room F1 has queen size bed along with a single next to it and 2nd room with single beds. Parking is right in front of door drive in of the highway and exit via the rear. Beds don’t have have electric blankets and you don’t need them the Donna keeps you warm.

The hotel room was spacious and clean, which made for a very comfortable stay. Overall, a very pleasant experience and a great choice for anyone looking for comfort and cleanliness.

Sehr sauber, das Bett ist auch sehr komfortabel, die Umgebung ist gut, sehr ruhig, eine gute Wahl im Reisen. Wir sind alle sehr zufrieden. Der Ort ist auch sehr gut zu finden, die Navigation kann direkt zur Tür gehen.

Vielen Dank an die Gastgeberin, dass sie uns bei unserer Ankunft bei der Schließung des Büros geholfen hat. Brötchen und Konfitüren als Geschenk für die Begrüßung, super nett.

We stayed one night at the Sandpiper Motel in Apollo Bay during peak season. On the positive side, the room was exceptionally clean, and the embroidered details on the bedding, pillow slips, and face towel were a lovely touch that added a sense of care and thoughtfulness to the decor. However, our stay was not without its issues. Room 5; Throughout the night, there was a persistent high-pitched noise whenever water was used in our block of rooms, which disrupted our sleep, not helpful if you are a light sleeper. This was particularly disappointing given the cost of over 500 NZD for one night. Additionally, while the self-check-in process was efficient, the lack of any staff presence left the motel feeling impersonal and made it impossible to seek assistance when needed. For example, there was no way to address the plumbing issue or request additional items like more face towels during our stay. While we appreciated the cleanliness and the attention to detail in the room design, these other factors made the experience less enjoyable than we had hoped. We hope this feedback helps improve the experience for future guests.
