Die Ausstattung ist umfassend: Im Erdgeschoss gibt es einen Innenhof zum Entspannen, die Gemeinschaftsküche ist sehr groß und verfügt über einen Geschirrspüler. Außerdem gibt es eine Leinwand für Filme oder Sportübertragungen. Die Zimmer sind ebenfalls recht komfortabel, klimatisiert und Bad, Dusche sowie Waschbecken sind voneinander getrennt. Alles in allem sehr empfehlenswert.

We arrived around 2:30 PM, right after check-in time. There is no elevator, but that’s completely understandable for an old Venetian building. We carried our luggage to the third floor, and while my wife was speaking with the host, we suddenly found out that the bathroom was shared with another room. This was a huge surprise for us because on Trip.com the booking clearly mentioned private facilities in the room and a shower. Only later did we realize that the bathroom was actually outside the room and shared between two rooms, with separate keys for the wooden bathroom door. The bathroom itself was clean and decent, but for us this completely changed the experience. We have never stayed in a place with a shared bathroom before, and finding this out only at check-in was very disappointing. Another frustrating point was the check-out policy. Check-out was at 10:00 AM, which we already knew from the booking, but honestly this was only the second time in my life I’ve seen such an early check-out time — and I’ve probably booked more than 200 hotels. I think the only earlier one I ever had was 9:30 AM. I genuinely do not understand why there needs to be a 4-hour gap between check-out and check-in for cleaning a room that does not even have a private bathroom. On top of that, the host said it was impossible to leave luggage after check-out because she had “negative experiences” before. So after an already disappointing stay, this just added another layer of inconvenience. Other downsides: * terrible pillows — sleeping felt like your head was at a 90-degree angle; * extremely poor sound insulation, you can hear literally every movement from other guests; * in the shower there was nothing except hand soap near the sink — no shampoo, no conditioner, no basic amenities. Positive points: * very good location; * the room itself was clean; * coffee was available in the room. Unfortunately, the bathroom situation completely overshadowed all the positives for us. Because of that, I would rate this place 2/5.

Die Hotellobby ist gut, aber die Zimmerausstattung weist einige Mängel auf, zum Beispiel fallen angeklebte Gegenstände leicht ab. Es gibt sowohl neue EU- als auch alte italienische Steckdosen, äh, das ist auch in Ordnung. Es gibt noch einige andere kleine Mängel, und gegen zwei Uhr morgens schien es in der Umgebung eine Party von jungen Leuten zu geben. Insgesamt sind die Lage und das Erlebnis den Preis wert. Es gibt viele Restaurants und Bars in der Nähe. Ich empfehle, einige der Restaurants mit den besten Bewertungen zu besuchen, um Pasta, Pizza und Eis zu essen – die Preise sind auch gut. Schließlich sind die Hotels auf der Hauptinsel noch teurer und die Einrichtungen älter. Wer höhere Ansprüche an das Erlebnis hat, äh, dem empfehle ich, ein paar Kilometer entfernt zum Hilton Garden Inn oder ähnlichem zu gehen. Der Preis ist ähnlich, die Einrichtungen besser, aber die Verkehrsanbindung ist nicht so praktisch. Oder man zahlt das Doppelte für etwas auf der Hauptinsel. Für geringere Ansprüche kann man andere nahegelegene Nicht-Hotel-Hostels ausprobieren.
