Ich blieb 2 Nächte mit meiner 22er Tochter. So irgendwie Freunde Reise. Der Empfangsmann war angenehmen, wir wurden vollständige Anweisungen zum Hotel klar, was nett war, da wir keine weiteren Fragen nach diesem hatten. Das Zimmer war sauber. Ich mag den hohen Schritt zum Toiletten nicht, da ich unter Schmerzen in meinen Gelenken leide und es ist schwer, einen solchen Schritt zu steigen, wenn er in der Mitte der Nacht oder früh am Morgen geweckt. Eine andere Sache, die mich störte waren die 80cm Betten. Sie waren zu klein. Ich meine, wenn Sie eine Person sind, die sich ein wenig in ihrem Schlaf bewegt, könnten Sie aus dem Bett fallen. Ich liebe das große Fenster, das die Notwendigkeit, Licht zu schließen verringert. Jeder Stock scheint eine kleine Küchenzeile zu haben, wo es eine Mikrowelle, Schneidmaschine, Kegel und Platten zu verwenden, wenn nötig. Außerdem gab es ein Fitget mit kleinen Container mit Schließungen (1 Container zu jedem Zimmer) um die Artikel in, wenn für den Shop gekauft. Der Boden hatte auch ein Waschraum mit Maschine, Trockner und Eisen. Auch jeder Boden hatte Spielzeug für Kinder zu nehmen und zu spielen, was ich dachte, war eine wunderbare Sache. Kaffee und Tee sind für Gäste kostenlos alle Arbeitsstunden der Rezeption zur Verfügung. Ich dachte, es wäre so nett, weil ich nicht am Morgen essen kann, aber eine Tasse Kaffee ist meine Morgenfreude. Wir hatten zwei Tage Regen und die Rezeption gab eine Schaumwandle zu nehmen. Und ich hörte, dass sie auch Gästen erlaubt, Fahrräder kostenlos in Sommerzeit zu nehmen. Wirklich wunderschön und wert der Preis.

The hotel was new, clean and comfortable. The ac was good, the room was quiet and we slept very well. We came with Tesla and there were ev chargers in parking lot near the hotel. The staff was very friendly and professional. I loved even the toilets near repception. Everything was taken care. I think this was for me perhaps the best hotel experience in Finland and very good compered hotels around the world.

The stuff is very kind and breakfast is ok. The Hotel is way too pricey for the service and the quality of the structure/comfort and design it offers because the room was tiny and poorly decorated. I extended my staying for one night after the booked time and for some reason the room was not cleaned up between the reservation period and the extended day. The third bed is just a sofa, quite uncomfortable

Hotel is located next to a pedestrian street, which makes it great for short walks and cocktails on terraces. There is a bar and a restaurant right next to reception, so not a long walk needed. Staff was friendly and professional. Everybody greeted. All went smooth. We had a Superior King room. View to lobby. Looked really nice, clean and modern. Spacious. Comfy bed. Good pillows. Air conditioner. Minibar. Coffee/tea/cocoa set. TV with chromecast. Bathroom was large and included everything you need. Products by Lumene. Breakfast was fine, nothing special. Coffee was bad, tasted like filtered coffee with double water. I would do some improvements, add some fish and some more egg options? We were there on easter and special points to staff wearing different easter themed items. They even designed boiled eggs :) Overall experience 5/5 and highly recommended.

Mein Zimmer war perfekt sauber und das Frühstück war fantastisch, im Wesentlichen nur mit lokalem Produkt gemacht (aber warum gab es keine frische Früchte?). Ich fand enttäuschend, wie dunkel mein Zimmer war, ja alle seine Fenster übersehen eine Mallgalerie. In einem Ort wie Finnland berühmt für seine weißen Sommernachten, ist es untragbar, gezwungen zu sein, die Lichter den ganzen Tag zu bewahren. An der Rezeption war jeder sehr freundlich, aber völlig uninformiert über alles. Ich habe beispielsweise einige grundlegende Fragen zu den lokalen Buszeiten gestellt und ich wurde mit falschen Informationen versehen. Eine der Damen auf der Rezeption sagte mir, dass es nach 4 Uhr keine Fahrten gab. Das klang mir so merkwürdig, dass ich mich lieber in einem R-Kiosk doppelt überprüfen wollte (eine Art von Zeitung, die auch Fahrkarten für den öffentlichen Verkehr verkauft) und ich da habe bestätigt, dass es fast jeden Tag Busfahrten gab. Dann fand ich es nicht hinnehmbar, dass das Telefon in meinem Zimmer nicht funktionierte, so dass ich die Rezeption nicht anrufen konnte. Eine Dame des Zimmerservices sagte mir, dass das Telefon blockiert wurde und um es zu entblocken, musste ein Puk-Code (auf der Telefonanzeige konnte ich eine merkwürdige Nachricht wie ”PUK-Code” oder ähnliches lesen). Sie erklärte, dass die Ersetzung des Geräts nicht die Lösung sei, das Problem hätte dauern müssen. In ihrer Meinung, ein Arbeitstelefon zu bekommen, musste ich Zimmer ändern ... Unglaublich. Ich hatte ehrlich erwartet, viel mehr auf der Grundlage der Bewertungen, die ich in diesem Hotel gelesen hatte. Es gibt einige Aspekte, die ich wirklich gerne von diesem Ort, aber viele andere, die verbessert werden müssen.

Stayed 7 nights in Superior King Room. Location was great, just a stone’s throw from train station and bus terminal, and also a short walk to the city centre and Lutakko Harbour. Room was of good size and we had good sleep throughout our stay, though the pillows were a tad too soft to our liking. Bathroom was spacious too. Shower came with both rain shower and handheld shower, and toiletries were in refillable bulk-sized bottles mounted onto the wall. I appreciated that my requests for room on higher floor and mini bar items to be cleared away were acceded to. Love that we were able to Chromecast with TV and continued to catch up with our favourite shows on Netflix. Daily housekeeping was carried out to our satisfaction. Air conditioning with adjustable thermostat was strong and it was definitely a saving grace during summer. The front office staffs were friendly and would greet us cheerfully whenever we left the hotel or returned. This hotel does not have a guest laundry room. However, the front office staff was very helpful to arrange with their sister hotel, Scandic Jyväskylä City Hotel that has a laundry room, to allow me to do my laundry washing there. A big thank you. Enjoyed our time at the sauna and indoor pool too, though the facilities could get pretty crowded during weekends. It would be nice if the sauna room was opened much earlier instead of just 18:00 to 21:00, so that guests could enjoy sauna in the day too. Breakfast varieties were decent, nothing to shout about. However the breakfast offerings were the same everyday, and eating the very same food throughout one whole week could get pretty bored. The biggest gripe was that after each shower the bathroom floor would get pretty wet. Despite standing super close to the wall when showering, the bathroom area would still get very wet as there was no shower kerb to prevent the water from flowing out. Though the shower cubicle came with a swing door, it totally didn’t stop the water from flowing out to the bathroom area either. Overall it was a very pleasant and satisfying stay and would definitely recommend to any visitor looking for an accommodation in Jyväskylä.

The hotel is perfectly located, in the city centre. Room size is very small, facilities and room itself was very clean. As message via Agoda said wait until 4pm, then the entry code will be sent to the email. 4 past, nothing arrived. Called to customer service.They told me that the identification request was sent to me by email, but unfortunately it wasn't, so I didn't done it. I did tried a few times, staying on the phone., around 10 mins. The picture was: too clear, too blur, too dark, too bright,...A nightmare. I was very tired after a journey, - 20 cold. Just wanted a hot shower and a rest. And I couldn't get in because of ridiculous ” identification”!!! I travelled through 54 countries , never experienced like that. A big minus as well: as my phone network was on roaming, I spent more money for this phone call than the room cost. Thanks for the guy on the phone for his patience.

Booked Omena Hotel for 5 nights as a budget stay for a business trip. It is in a convenient location very close to the centre of town and not far from the train station. The code to enter was emailed to me the day before arrival. This is the code to get through the gate, into the building and into the room. The communal spaces were clean and easy to navigate. The room itself was very basic but suited me as I was not using the room other than to sleep! The room was comfortable enough and everything worked. The blinds did a wonderful job of blocking out the 24 hour daylight! There was a microwave which was handy although I only used it once. Overall, great budget accommodation for Jyvyskyla for single travellers. With more than one person in the room it could be small, but manageable if you are just using the room as a base to explore beautiful Jyvyskyla.
