We love staying at Snow Village so much and decided to stay there for 4D3N. Chosen Xinfu Inn after long consideration. We are family of 6 with young kids so we prioritize a place where kids can enjoy playing snow to the fullest. The view was so nice. There is frozen river in front of the inn and a hill at the back of the inn with the snow slides made by the host with a nice landscaping. The host really helpful and treated us like their family-guest. Communication before the stay and during the stay was using WeChat and Google translate 😅. They helped to book bus from Harbin-Xuegu (Snow Village), pay direct to them (CN¥80 one way) using Alipay. They have 2 inns. The first room we booked was the new inn which around 800metres from the main inn. The new inn has modern kang bed and toilet but no play area and lawn to play snow, we have decided to move to the main inn and the host and hostess are happy to move us to the main inn. But the room in the main inn more traditional. The kang bed using old fashioned heating method - wood-burning-stove with bricks that retain the heat. It was very hot with just a layer of thick quilts. Feels like a hot sauna when laying on it. So we can't really sleep at night when the heat still ”fresh”, especially at the side of the bed where the wood is burned. If you sleep at the end of the bed it is much better. And for us personally with one layer of quilt the bed is so hard and not comfortable but it is good experience to live like the locals. The kids really love the snow slides built by the host at the back of the inn. Since we are Muslim, we informed the hostess to prepare food that we can eat - rice, eggs and tofu. The hostess all really understanding and always friendly and loves to play with the kids. The host helped took a nice picture of us with firework but we missed to have a picture playing hot water turned ice. The host helped to book a bus to Snow Town on the third day. Departed at 1pm and back to the Snow Village at 8pm. All the charted bus from Harbin or to Snow Town will come pickup at the front of the inn. Really convenient. We did not go to Wusonglin, instead we went to the local play area where we can play anytime anyday with only one time entrace fees. It just besides the new inn and there are skis, snowboard, snow mobile, ice skating and many mores. With kids, it is really recommended. We truly enjoyed staying at Xinfu inn and will come back in future maybe in other seasons to enjoy the view of the river.

The guesthouse owner is very attentive and friendly. They gave you the feelings like you are staying at your own hometown. They are Muslim friendly as they prepared breakfast using seperate utensils and treat you like their own family. There is also Makanan Melayu menu that they prepared for Muslim if you want to eat for dinmer or lunch. The price is affordable. At the guesthouse, there is a poster of snow activities that you can do written in English translation. Just point to what do you want to do and the owner will directly arrange somebody to pick you up and drop off to the guesthouse again once activity is done. I did the ski playground activity and Wu Song Ling , both of the experience is very great. If you travel solo, then this guesthouse is perfect for you as they really caring and attentive to make sure you are safe and comfortable. I also got to eat frozen fruit given by the owner. No need to worry if you cannot speak chinese as the owner is equipped with translation devices. The owner can arrange the bus to come from Harbin City to Snow Valley, and also when you want to go back. The bus drop directly infront of the guesthouse with the owner already waiting to help with your luggage.

We stayed at Kuolanting Inn for two nights and had a truly memorable experience. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by three friendly women. Although language was sometimes a barrier, we always felt well taken care of. The hosts patiently used a translator whenever we needed anything, which made communication smooth and reassuring. Mr. Gang was exceptional. Even before our arrival, he provided us with all the information we needed. He managed all our transportation—from Harbin to Snow Village and back to Harbin—and even arranged our transfers between Snow Village and Snow Town seamlessly. During our stay, he joined us in activities and recorded our moments using his 360° camera, which was such a thoughtful and special touch. The lady who cooked for us was lovely, and every meal she prepared was absolutely delicious. We felt full, comfortable, and genuinely cared for throughout our stay. Would I recommend this place? Certainly,yes!

Xuexiang wurde wegen steigender Temperaturen geschlossen. Um es nicht zu bereuen, wählten unsere beiden Familien Snow Valley, das ganz in der Nähe von Xuexiang liegt, als letzte Station dieser Nordostreise. Die Landschaft von Snow Valley ähnelt der von Xuexiang, ohne zu viel Kommerzialisierung. Ich habe mich dieses Mal vor allem wegen seiner hohen Bewertung und seines angemessenen Preises für das Gaosheng Inn entschieden. Das stimmt auch. Der Ladenbesitzer und seine Familie sind sehr nett und haben eine sehr gute Serviceeinstellung! Wir haben uns für den großen Kang entschieden, der für eine vierköpfige Familie mehr als ausreichend ist, und die Heizung ist sehr leistungsstark; das Zimmer ist zwar klein, aber sauber, das Essen im Gasthaus ist köstlich, wir haben alle drei Mahlzeiten gegessen im Hotel, und der Eisentopf des Ladenbesitzers schmort die Gans bis heute! Dongsheng Inn hat zwei Geschäfte, eines in Changqing Forest Farm und das zweite in Snow Valley. Obwohl die Landschaft in Changqing Forest Farm auch gut war, bevorzugten wir Snow Valley Am Ende schickte uns der Laden auch zum Laden. Das Auto brachte uns zum Laden in Xuegu. Sehr kostengünstig, fünf Punkte!

I chanced upon Yilaikezhan by chance after knowing the snow town was closed. So I searched for an alternative and after booking, the boss got in contact with me and helped me arranged transport to pick me up from airport to his place. It was a scenic drive and the driver was great and very helpful. We were hungry and he stopped by for us to grab some food before heading to the guesthouse. Upon arrival, we were greeted by the super friendly and hospitable host. The room is neat and tidy, comfortable bed with a heater that i realised by chance. Although we arrived late in Mar and most of the places, the snow has melted, but magically there are some really nice snow scenery for photo taking. There is a really lovely river just infront of the guesthouse, where the view is really enchanting. The food served by the lady host is super delicious but it came it really huge portion that we felt bad not able to finish. We have small stomach to begin with. The next day, the boss drove us into the mountain to see some really nice snow, at least knee height. Really beautiful and along the way, we saw cows. Stopped again for photo taking. It was an enjoyable and unforgettable experience. The stay, the food the hospitality is top notch! This has been the highlight of our trip and would come here for another stay when we make another trip back to harbin.

Dieser Ort war erstaunlich, Gastgeber sehr nett und gut. Wir kommen alle 12 Pax, sie behandeln uns wie Familie. Alle von uns sind zufrieden. Das ganze Haus ist sauber, die Toilette ist sehr sauber und gut und voraus! Der Gastgeber wird Ihnen alles sagen, der Gastgeber bereitet einen Wagen für uns aus Harbin Stadt, und bereitet einen Wagen auch für uns gehen in die Schneestadt, und auch von Schneestadt zurück in Harbin Stadt. Alle sind gut vorbereitet. ( muss nur Geld alles in alipay/tng Ewallet) Host bereitet Frühstück Porridge und Pau und Eier (easy for our as Muslim to eat) Der Gastgeber begleitet auch unsere Berge, um Aktivitäten zu machen. Prepareu uns ein Feuerwerk und Musik in der Nacht. Auch Mahjong Tisch haben wir es geliebt! 5 Sterne für Sie und Familie. Alles über Harbin, das wir am meisten verpasst haben, ist Ihr Platz! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

It is incredibly convenient—literally a 1-minute walk to China’s ”Most Northern Post Office,” making it easy to send out postcards or explore the local landmarks. Exceptional Hospitality: The owner is wonderful and incredibly welcoming. Right from the start, they checked in to see which sights I wanted to visit and took the lead in helping me make all the necessary travel arrangements. It took all the stress out of planning my daily excursions. Authentic Atmosphere: The inn has a cozy, local feel that really adds to the experience of being in the northernmost part of China. Final Thoughts: Between the friendly service and the ideal location, Penglaiyuan Inn made my trip to Mohe truly memorable. If you want a host who genuinely cares about your experience, this is the place to stay!

Cleanliness & Basics: The room was clean and we had hot water for showers. Authentic Experience: We enjoyed feeling immersed in the local neighborhood, with lots of small, inexpensive restaurants nearby. Points for Foreign Families to Note: Language Barrier: The staff were very kind and helpful, but did not speak English. They managed communication using translation apps, which was fine but required patience. Breakfast: The complimentary breakfast was entirely Chinese-style (congee, egg, steamed buns, pickles). Amenities: Don't expect extra facilities like a gym or pool. It's a place to sleep and clean up, not a resort. Local Focus: The inn is clearly geared toward domestic travelers, so room decor is simple and functional. Overall: This inn is an excellent, economical choice if you prioritize a clean room and good value. We were comfortable and would use it again for a budget trip

Great one! I loved that place. To be honest if you want to stay for a long visit, this is the best hotel but far away from location.

Dieser Service ist sehr gut, Tickets und Kleidung sind sehr kostengünstig in der Volksreise, kostenlose Autos und Skigebiete und Stationen. Der Tourismus fürchtet Probleme oder wird gedämpft. Der Aufenthalt in diesem Haus hat diese beiden Punkte völlig vermieden, sehr sorgfältig und sehr sorgfältig, der Ladenführer hat eine gute Einstellung.
