Hotels in der Nähe von Odos xoris onomasia, Zakynthos

Das Hotel ist etwas weit entfernt, es gibt kein Restaurant oder Attraktion in der Nähe Jedes Mal, wenn ich die Tür aussteige, muss ich in andere Richtungen gehen. Das Frühstück ist gut. Es gibt viele Wahlen. Das Mittagessen ist etwas langsam. Der Ladekopf des Zimmers ist lange gelassen. Ich will nicht, dass du dich verarschst. Das kann man, aber es ist nicht fünf Sternen.

Der erste Eindruck war gut, allerdings war unser Zimmer nicht mal 3 Sterne wert! Schlieren am Schrank, schiefe Minibartür, katastrophale Lüftungsabdeckgitter! Nicht mal eine Lüftung im Bad. Auch nicht, als wir es am Front Office reklamiert haben. Die Glastür zum Bad hat ringsherum 1cm Abstand zum Rahmen! Im Bad hört man den Nachbarn gegenüber im Bad!!! Die Dusche ist total verkalkt und hat tausend Knöpfe, die nur dabei helfen das Bad noch mehr unter Wasser zu setzen, denn die Duschwand ist zu klein. Leider hat es auch zu wenig Ablageplatz im Bad. Kein Sichtschutz zwischen den Balkonen zu den Nachbarn. Eine Minibar ohne Preisliste (auch nicht online), kein Flaschenöffner. Die Bettgestelle sind wahrscheinlich Überbleibsel aus den 80iger Jahren. Es gibt natürlich eine Kleiderreinigung, aber die ist zu teuer! Leider auch viel zu wenig Bügel im Schrank. Bei den beiden Pools werden die Liegen ab 7uhr mit Handtüchern reserviert! Das geht gar nicht! Einfach noch ein paar Liegen mehr aufstellen und diese Unart verbieten! Die Sonnenschirme sind leider sehr klein, sodass mindestens einer immer in der heissen Sonne sitzt. Durchgetretene Bretter am Pool sind auch eine Gefahrenstelle. Der Poolservice ist zwar anwesend, aber auch nicht wirklich interessiert Umsatz zu machen oder die leeren Gläser wieder abzuräumen. Badetücher gibt es leider nur im Spa, wo man sie auch wieder abgeben muss. Das Frühstücksbuffet ist vielfältig, sogar mit frischen Crêpes, Rührei und Spiegelei. Auch hier sind die Mitarbeiter freundlich, bis auf die etwas kräftigere Frühstücksköchin- die war jeden der 8 Tage mies gelaunt. Der Maitre de Hotel ist etwas arrogant, wenn man ihm als Gast platzt machen muss, wenn er kommt. Super ist der Abendservice im Zimmer und wirklich nett und hilfsbereit die Mitarbeiter beim Front Desk, aber das erwartet man auch bei 5*. Leider für uns keinen zweiten Besuch wert, denn das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis stimmt nicht.

We have been to Kalamaki many times over the years, and have walked passed the Athina Apartments on our visits, so we took the plunge and booked to stay here for 9 nights from the 8th September. The apartments are ideally located. They literally back onto the main ***** in Kalamaki, and are a few minutes walk from the main Kalamaki beach. We stayed in a top floor room, overlooking the pool. The view was great, and lovelly to wake up to in the morning or to enjoy of an evening before venturing out. Because we faced away from the main *****, we did not hear it at all. The rooms are basic, and could do with a little spruce up, but they are clean and comfortable, so that's what is most important. If you are looking to cook in the room, the cooking facilities consist of 2 hot rings and that's it. There is no oven or even a microwave. So you may struggle. But if like us, the only thing we cooked in the room was some toast for breakfast (yes there is a toaster and a kettle) then its fine. The pool area has been recently installed / renovated. Its is a lovely area, however during our entire stay, we did not see any member of staff tidy up the area at all, not even straighten the sun beds at the end of the day. When we had finished using the beds, we always tidied up after ourselves, and straighten the beds up etc, but not everyone did. So the pool area tends to look very untidy at the end of the day, which is such a shame, as it looks very tranquil in the evening, so it would be nice if it looked neat too :-) There is no lift in the hotel, so if you have struggle walking up flights of stairs, we would suggest opting for a ground floor apartment. However these do open up right onto the pool area so privacy will be a factor. The staff were great, and were always at hand should you need them. Would we stay again? Of course we would! In fact we have already booked to return again next September!!

Das beste Hotel, in dem ich je in Europa gelebt habe! Gutes Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis mit kostenlosem Upgrade auf ein Zimmer mit Gemeinschaftspool. Gute Aussicht und Service!

A Lovely Greek Family Independent Hotel, which Does Not have Tennis (or Crazy Golf) ! I will write this from the perspective of someone not expecting to play a few sets of tennis in the morning (misdescription of facilities not hotels fault) before a hard day of Rest and Relaxation. It was The Best check in arrival I have ever experienced _ got sat down, watered with welcome drink, and the usual local documentation was dealt with in a relaxed yet attentive way. Due to the room booking pattern we were offered an upgraded room gratis for first few days, if we didn’t mind moving mid week, which worked out great. Hopefully pics attached if I manage it ! The room was very well equipped, spacey and like everything in the hotel, very comfortable. The beds and loungers are the good quality sort where you do not notice you are not in your usual bed, so great _ The owner was around through large parts of the day, now retired, while other family members and the on the ball staff take care of operations. It was very nice to have many short conversations with ever watchful Mr Spiros, a very interesting person to speak with (and very sharp minded, Very Perceptive, and humorous) I noticed on the comprehensive information board a sunset hike trip, with a local guide the hotel recommends. It was fantastic, and many other hikes and walks are available too. I recommend anyone active to take a hiking trip with the hotels recommended guide during their stay. The hotel is located within easy walking distance of Cameo Island and it’s famous rope bridge. On the other side of the hotel is the party ***** for the brave, the young and the adventurous. Walking distance, but far enough away you’d never know it was there if you didn’t want to. From talking to locals the ***** is really active June July August, where I gather it can be a bit lively. We took a boat trip around the island, again booked via hotel, with easy collection and transportation to local main harbour. On reflection a shorter trip from the boat hires around Cameo Island may have been enough, rather than the around the entire island. It was 35 euros for the full round island trip, great value for money. When the reception team say ‘we can make you a packed lunch if you’d like’ this actually means ‘you’re three or four hour trip will be 5 or six hours and you will arrive back when service is over’ This is a ’tip’ and it’s well taking up the lunchbox out option if going on a trip, hike, day exploring etc. The food was great, Very Good to Excellent, large choice, dietary considerations, lots of veg and vegan options, lots of labels, a willingness to check ingredients if asked. Top Marks. Staff friendly, warm, welcoming, and very good at matching customer requirements (so formal if guests treated them formally, fun if guests were fun, and always attentive to service) I would go as far as to say there are some special ones. I’m not a big drinker (guess I’ve grown up) but for those that like to ‘indulge’ _t

Im Stadtzentrum, in der Nähe der venezianischen Burg. Der Parkplatz ist oft voll, aber es gibt einen kleinen Bruder, der Ihnen hilft, woanders anzuhalten. Der Preis ist günstig, das Zimmer ist groß, das Zimmer mit Meerblick kann den Sonnenaufgang beobachten und das Frühstück ist gut. Die Grundschule daneben ist sehr lebendig. Gegen 8 Uhr fingen die Kinder an, Ärger zu machen. Die Puppe ist sehr süß. Ich möchte ein paar Spiele halten.

My husband and I had a wonderful time at this beautiful hotel. It’s like a little oasis! Our (very spacious) room was tucked away above the spa, where it was very quiet. They kindly gave us a free room upgrade, so we had a huge in-room hot tub which was a nice surprise! And the balcony was the perfect spot for watching the sunset. The pool area was lovely, with comfy loungers/beanbags and lots of greenery. And the QR codes make it easy to order drinks or snacks straight to your sun lounger. The spa was also great, and you can book the pool/sauna for just the two of you, which is a nice touch. We booked half-board and the food was excellent. The breakfast buffet had plenty of choice, and you can also order a dish from the menu at no extra cost. I was very impressed by the evening buffet. I find that buffet dinners can be hit-and-miss, but everything was delicious, especially the Greek dishes. There was also live music by the bar on a couple of nights, which added a really nice atmosphere. Special shout-out to the evening bartender who made the most fantastic cocktails! We also ate at the Nobile rooftop restaurant one evening. We had the seven-course tasting menu which was very nice, but there was quite a lengthy gap between the courses. We were there over three hours – had we known it would be that long, I think we probably would have booked an earlier table. But it was a great experience nonetheless, and the food was wonderful. The final word goes to go to the staff, who were amazing. The reception team, the porter, the waiting staff, the spa team – everyone was so friendly, smiley, and couldn’t do enough for you. I’d definitely recommend Contessina Suites for a chilled-out break; we had the best time.
