In Kalamaki in einer Seitenstraße und nicht weit vom Strand. Freumdlicher Empfang und die Koffer werden zum Zimmer gebracht nach kurzer Wartezeit. Man begleitet uns zum Zimmer. Dort Klimaanlage, Dusche, Kühlschrank und 2 Betten. TV mit wenigen deutschen Programmen und kleinen Balkon. Pool sauber und 1,20 tief sowie 2 Minibecken. Leider läuft ab 8 Uhr das Wasser immer. Dadurch ist das Wasser eiskalt und man muss sich schon überwinden. Garten schön und 1 Poolbar mit Bedienung. Getränke aus Spendern und Pommes sowie Sandwich kann man haben. Liegen mit Sonnenschirm werden morgens belegt. Freumdlicher Mitarbeiter beim Einlass zum Restaurant. Frühstück immer gleich das heisst Wurst, Käse, Spiegeleier, Bohnen und Rührei sowie Toast und Brot. Keine Auswahl es wechselt nicht. Mittags besser als Abends. Es gibt Pommes, Pizza, Fisch oder Gyros. Salat ist oft prima und Obst auch ok. Süss es gibt es auch wie Baklava oder Kuchen. Suppe 1x gut sonst Leider wie Putzwasser. Es gibr Wärmeschalen mit Deckel und Sauberkeit ist gut. Leider beim Gang zum Essen Maskenpflicht, warum auch immer. Hinten Klimaanlage ist kalt und Erkältungsgefahr. Sonst für 3 Sterne Hotel ganz gut, wir hatten keinen Hunger. BBQ Hähnchenkeulen oder Paella waren Top. Bar im Hotel bis auf Barkeeper ganz ok. Tischabräumer unfreundlich und nimmt volles Glas mit. Dss gesamte Hotel ist in britischer Hand, fast nur englische Sprache was aber nicht stört. Die Flugzeuge morgens und spät Abends machen Lärm. Preis und Leistung gut, Lage gut und Essen ausbaufähig. Service mittelmaß und sonst kann man hier ruhig hinfliegen denn das Wetter im Mai ist schon gut warm.

Kurz gesagt, wenn ihr auf gutes Essen steht geht hier nie hin! Zimmer sind okay und relativ sauber (hier lege ich aber nicht so viel wert) aber das Essen ist unbeschreiblich schlecht! Auswahl ist groß aber Qualität ist jeder Mc Donalds besser. Hab es zwei Tage versucht aber breche nun ab und gehe auswärts essen da ich mir das nicht länger antun werde. Wenn man griechische Küche vorfindet ist selbst die nicht gut. Trocken, kalt oder verknörpelt ist fast jedes Fleischgericht. Leider gibt es auch fast keine griechische Mahlzeiten hier. Als Snacks werden unter Tag Pommes oder Weißbrot mit Käse und S*****en angeboten was lieblos kurz getoastet wird. Es tut mir für das Personal total leid da sie sehr nett und freundlich sind aber ich hatte noch nie Mahlzeiten gehabt die so wenig Geschmack hatten und Qualitativ so schlecht. Nichtmal einen richtigen Kaffee gibt es zum Frühstück (nur instand) LG Ein sehr enttäuschter Urlauber

The staff are exceptionally friendly and helpful. The hotel is beautifully clean, gardens very well maintained, lovely pool. Food very adequate for all inclusive. Would definitely go back. Although airport is very close, noise of planes not intrusive and we found it interesting to watch the planes.

My husband and I traveled to Kalamaki for the 1st time and had the pleasure of staying in this hotel for 12 nights. The staff are so friendly and welcoming from the moment you arrive at the hotel and their hospitality continued throughout our entire stay, the restaurant staff, pool area and evening bar staff are an asset to this hotel and they go that extra mile to ensure that you are always made to feel welcome. We were allocated room 301 which we were extremely pleased about as the location for us was perfect. Very high standard of cleanliness throughout the hotel with room cleaning every day, the pool was cleaned every night and we never failed to get sun loungers. The food in the restaurant was very nice with plenty of choices at all meal times. We cannot fault this hotel & everyone works their hardest to give the holiday makers an extremely pleasurable stay. We told the reception staff as we were leaving that we would certainly be returning and we booked to do just that after less than 24 hours of returning home! See you all in June 2024 golden sun and a huge thanks once again to you all ⭐️

Have visited the Golden Sun Hotel with my wife on many occasions whilst she was still well enough to travel. 2023 was my first visit as a single traveller and on arrival was greeted with "welcome home" by staff at reception, a brilliant greeting from people I have known from previous visits. The Hotel is well situated, extremely clean and provides varied meals and excellent service. I have booked 2024 already and look forward to another period of respite.

This hotel is clutching at straws to boast having 4 stars. It’s clean and modern but that’s all it ever can be. The food selection is ok but not worthy of its star rating. I recommend taking your own plastic glasses as the ones they provide are flimsy and too small and annoyingly in use in the evening when the pool is closed. As an adult paying a lot of money for all inclusive I expect to be able to sit outside on the balcony bar with a proper glass. They claim it’s health and safety which is absurd as all other establishments use glass. It’s purely convenience and cost. Thankfully it’s only a short walk into the town centre where you need to go for any entertainment as the hotel has it on twice in one week ! The result of this is kids have no entertainment during the day, other than the pool and the adults are left wondering why they actually booked this place. If you want a quiet break with nothing to do then this is the place to go.

Where do I start - we have stayed in a lot of different countries at a lot of different hotels, but for me this is the best by far. We loved loved loved it. Extremely very staff from the moment we arrived we were greeted at entrance, taken care of like royalty, rooms were immaculate and kept beautifully clean every day. Food was a worry for me as I am really fussy but omg it was very good, so much so I put on half a stone I ate that much 😂, all restaurant staff were attentive & friendly, night bar staff were great, especially Emiliano (young lad) think that was his name, he was fantastic, and will be well loved behind bar when he can serve. For me my particular two favourites were Dimitria & Andreas behind pool bar, I totally adored them both. Iv never felt emotional about leaving a place, but I did here, so much so that just 3 days after arriving back home we have booked to return, albeit its not till September 2024, but I am already excited. Keep up the excellent work everyone & look forward to seeing you all next year.

Just come back from a week away. Hotel and room are super clean. Staff are very friendly. Great location and right on the beach. Negatives: - not much choice of food and drinks - bar/all inclusive ends at 11pm - only allowed one key card for the room meaning when you go back into the room it is a sweat box

Had a good two weeks at this hotel. The staff were lovely, very friendly and helpful. The food was tasty and plentiful, and the drinks were limitless. The hotel was well situated, close to the beach, and restaurants and shops. The mini golf was fun and fairly close by. We had a few different trips on the fun train, enjoyed that. The second week we were there, so many places had closed down, as the season was ending. Wall to wall sunshine every day was a big bonus. My advice would be, don’t book after the second week of October if you want a lively nightlife. On the whole, a lovely experience.
