Location: Can be tricky to find the first time as you need to turn onto Cyril Street. Look across the road for the white building with red writing. Check-in: easy and fast. The man on reception is friendly and organised, just a lovely receptionist. There is a bond of $200; be organised and you’ll save your time and the receptionist’s time. You can pay the bond in cash. Parking: great, BUT there are some permanents living there and so you might want to park away from them… you will see immediately where you should not park :) clean parking area. Seemed organised. Room: very clean, comfortable. There are no knives, forks or plates, but there is a kettle and a microwave. Teas coffees, etc. six milk pods, so maybe bring milk if you need more. Really make sure that you close the door properly or it will seem shut, but not actually be shut and will open :) Good curtains in the room that block out the light from outside. I noticed a fair amount of security cameras outside on the walkway, which was reassuring. Fantastic showers with plenty of hot water and good water pressure. The bed is firm, but I liked it. Would or wouldn’t stay again? Unfortunately, no, not while they are acting as ‘crisis accommodation’. The staff and room were great, but there are some undesirables living there who kept us awake all night. Not exaggerating when I say, did not sleep AT ALL. We were up and down to check on the car - the permanents were screaming, fighting - some real Jerry Springer stuff. I was upstairs and the people next to me had a dog that barked all night, in addition to the couple screaming at each other :/ Downstairs, fighting, screaming constantly. it sounded like something got broken downstairs. A guy on a motorbike kept coming and going, visiting the permanents downstairs and talking super loudly, then more yelling and fighting after he tore off on his bike. I didn’t feel safe; I expected the car to get damaged. I realise those people’s behaviour is not the motel’s fault, but I was so tired the next day that I got a migraine and yeah, still fending it off now, day after. Not impressed with those feral permanents. It’s a shame because the staff and rooms are great

Worth the Buck! Pet friendly which is awesome and convenient especially if you don’t want to leave your loved pet at home

We booked and paid for a deluxe written room which looked really move in the pics on the website. The room we ended up with was a family room which was nothing like the pics and when I tried to talk to one of the staff about this he acted like he didn't understand what the issue was and asked if we wanted him to take some of the beds out of the room. Pretty disgusted. Also the bed was like sleeping on a slab of cement

The room was been build up such a way and nice and clean which i was impressed with room.

We used it as somewhere to stay after an afternoon-evening event in Coldstream. Good for overnight stays or a couple of nights if exploring Yara Valley close to Melbourne but don't want the expense of staying in the valley itself. Neat and tidy, excellent value for the area.

Upon check in my family was upgraded from a 3 bedroom apar**ent to a 4 bedroom. It was not an apar**ent but a massive house! We were amazed at the sheer size and my children had a wonderful time exploring and enjoying our time together. The location is excellent for families and easy to park in. A good choice of restaurants around to dine in or have delivery. The outside could use a freshen up with landscaping and painting. The rooms were modern with all the basic essentials. A hidden delight which we would be happy to stay at again. Thank you to the amazing staff who also made us feel welcome.

Was clean and comfortable. The bed was great and bathroom as updated and nice. Would be better with ***** on bottom and around front door to help stop noise and insects coming in. Would like flyscreen on bathroom window so can open to let fresh air in. Prefer proper cutlery like spoon for making tea. For smaller footprint - a small kettle would be sufficient - no one needs to boil 7cups of water. The reception area was a bit messy with cartons of drinks sprawled around. Would be nicer with a bigger tv. But staff was nice enough, though busy.
