A comfortable family trip in Xiamen. The staff are really nice and sweet which makes the traditional Hotel out of expectation. The weather is not so favourable in early April, but our trip was carefree for a two nights stay with wonderful location near Zhongshan Park and the famous botanical garden.
One thing that I feel pity though is that no swimming pool facility in the Hotel, so we travelled a bit to a nearby indoor pool.

It used to be the headquarters of "Junming Hospital" founded by Mr. Weng Junming, a patriot. Weng Junming devoted his life to the patriotic restoration of Taiwan as his own duty, and joined the Chinese League when he was young, followed Dr. Sun Yat-sen to join the democratic revolution, and became the chairman of the Taiwan Party Department of the Chinese Kuomintang in 1943. As a model of classic architecture, it retains the original flavor of architecture to a large extent. Wabi-sabi is fully developed, clean, fresh and simple is its external beauty, but not yet classic. Log wind Windows, straw paint walls, unique flavor. Not every historic building is fortunate enough to be protected, and what remains is the luck of history, but also the luck of the later arrivals. In line with such an original intention, protection and inheritance.

Am letzten Tag meiner Reise nach Xiamen fand ich heraus, dass dieses Schatzhotel sowohl glücklich als auch traurig ist. Dieses Hotel ist eine Rekonstruktion einer Villa. Der Dekorationsstil ist sehr retro. Es hat einen Balkon und einen Garten. Die Lage ist auch sehr praktisch. Es ist sehr nah an Zhongshan Road und die Zimmer sind groß und komfortabel. die Dame an der Rezeption auch sehr sanft und schön. Es gibt zwei super süße Katzen. Das Preis-Leistungs - Verhältnis ist wirklich höher als das Hotel ich war Es wird dringend empfohlen. [Zunge][Zunge][Zunge]

Sie können zur Zhongshan-Straße laufen und dort ein Taxi für 10 Minuten zum Pier der Insel Gulangyu nehmen. Das Zimmer ist auch sehr sauber und das Frühstück ist sehr gut. Da es plötzlich regnete und ich in Schwierigkeiten war, hat er mir freundlicherweise einen Regenschirm geliehen, was wirklich sehr geholfen hat. Die Duschtür ist undicht und der Boden ist nass. Ansonsten gibt es keine Probleme und es ist ein empfehlenswertes Hotel.

Ich war beeindruckt mit dem Personal im Vorbüro Frau JuanJuan Liao, sie war glücklich, professionell und hilfsbereit; ich würde sie als einer der besten Hotelpersonal, die ich jemals getroffen habe. Da der GM Herr Paul Zhang als großer Führer während meines 4-Nachts-Aufenthalts im Hotel gezeigt hat, war er sehr auf und professionelle Unterstützung für sein Personal und seine Gäste.

WWan SuwanThe apartment location is in good environment, going around with taxi is fair enough, however, the building itself doesn't exist on the map, only the neighbor one does, which made us difficult to find the right building when we first arrived, plus we have no idea that the check in room, is one of the room on the 5th floor, as in the address of the hotel, it just put room 501, 521 Gaolin Road, etc. I recommend to give more details to ease the check-in of the hotel description like, 'when arrive, please contact room 501 on the 5th floor to check in', also, the hotel should pin the exact building location on the map, otherwise, guests may get lost on first arrive like us, whereas people around don't speak English to help too.
The apartment itself is clean and in good condition with good space & layout. Facilities are good enough, except, the kitchen is kind of waste because there is no kitchenette at all, they only provide bottle water, glasses/paper cup & electric kettle in the kitchen, in which we expect a hotel apartment should have at least some kitchenette like tableware, cutlery, pot or pan (as they have electric stove) and at least a microwave oven & dishwashing liquid, which partly why we choose to stay in the apartment rather than normal hotel. This is one of the upset issues that we have for this stay.
The breakfast comes as McDonald's breakfast coupon consists of one small Berger & a drink, which is fine as McDonald is on the street level of the building itself.
Plus thing is that we can request for more bottle water & the disposable towel with no additional cost. Although the disposable towel is not so good to use as towel, they are still acceptable & hygienic, so, if you want more comfort, I suggest, bring your own towel. The washer works well, no dryer, but they provide hanger with drying space where there are windows open.
The nearest large shopping center, Wanda Plaza, is nearby, taxi costs only ~CNY10, where you can find lots of restaurants & Walmart, etc.
In overall, this property is good & worth of money.

JJamesAs per my previous review, this hotel is the best Crowne plaza i have stayed at and one of the best hotels i have found in China. Without repeating my previous review, the rooms are new and excellent quality, the facilities perfect and the staff are exceptional - always friendly and amenable. Special mention for the housekeeping staff who seem to work tirelessly. I travel extensively so i can be fussy and sometimes dismissive of the ‘hotel experience’, but this hotel is really exceptional. I will return for sure

GGuest UserIch hatte ein anderes Hotel reserviert, weil das Zimmer nicht genug ist. Trip.com hat mir dieses Haus geholfen. Der Chef hat den Service sehr herzlich geholfen. Die Doppelzimmer sind zu nah an der Leitung. Ich fürchte, wir können die Kinder nicht gut schlafen. Der Chef hat zwei große Schlafzimmer mit zwei Betten hinzugefügt und den Kindern Champagner geschickt.

GGuest UserThe first three nights of our stay were very basic and a bit depressing. The air in the room was not very clean which made sleeping in the room very difficult. The breakfast was the standard Chinese style breakfast with a small variety of fruits. The pool had no water and they explained that they will fill it within a day, which ended up being filled days later. The hotel redeemed themselves by meeting our requests after we complained. They changed the room and provided a version of western-styled breakfast which was quite satisfactory. The hotel was located across from the beach which compensated for the lack of a pool. The staff was very polite and responsive. The hotel provides a well-equipped laudry room which is very convenient.

GGuest UserDieses Hotel wurde unter Berücksichtigung der Jahreszeit und der benachbarten Hotels überdurchschnittlich gepreist. Ich kann nicht sagen, dass mein Aufenthalt hier wegen einiger Dinge sehr gut war. Als ich im Passverfahren geprüft und alles abgeschlossen wurde. Sie mussten den Prozess später wieder tun. Das Wasser ging aus, während ich dort blieb, aber sie fixierten es innerhalb von 20 Minuten. Das nahe gelegene Hotel und Strand bauten, so dass ich früh morgens viel Lärm aus meinem Fenster ging. Die Lage ist gut, weil es nahe dem Strand ist, aber das gewerbliche Essen ist im Hotel neben ihm. Es gab Dinge wie Teebagen oder Baumwollswaben, die ich in dem Zimmer gebeten habe, aber keines davon ist angeboten. Die Aussicht ist sehr nett. Das Reinigungspersonal ist sehr freundlich. Ihre Frühstückszone war jedoch nur ein leeres Bankettzimmer mit leeren schüttelnden Gerichten und sie hatten eine Familie, die vorübergehend Platten aus dem machen, was sie beschlossen. Ich denke, dieses Hotel braucht etwas Liebe und Aufmerksamkeit, vor allem angesichts der Tatsache, dass die benachbarten Hotels ihre Eigenschaften verbessern. Ich denke, die Preise hätten unter Berücksichtigung aller Bauarbeiten in den Wanderwegen hinter dem Hotel niedriger sein müssen. Ich habe ehrlich gesagt keinen Hinweis, dass Abendessen verfügbar oder nicht. Ich sah dort insgesamt drei Mitarbeiter und dann die Familie von drei machen das Frühstück in den zwei Tagen. Der Preis des Hotels veränderte sich um 200 yuan in Trip.com in weniger als 12 Stunden am Tag, an dem ich reservierte. Nur der Unterschied war, dass das Frühstück nicht enthalten war.

SSarah MarDas Personal des Hotels war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Mein Mann und ich waren im siebten Stock und haben den Mitgliedern der Executive-Etage einen Nachmittagstee bereitgestellt ,ruhig und komfortabel. Wir haben den Nachmittagstee wirklich genossen. Wenn ich etwas vorschlagen kann, würde ich dringend empfehlen, den Teppich im Gästezimmer zu wechseln und den Haartrockner zu erneuern.
Der Service an der Rezeption und anderen Mitarbeitern im Marco Polo Hotel ist sehr herzlich und rücksichtsvoll. Der Hotelmanager Vincent hat uns geduldig bei der Lösung des Problems geholfen. Nachmittagstee im Executive-Gebäude im achten Stock. Obwohl es nicht viele Snacks gibt, genieße ich den Nachmittagstee sehr. Wenn die Hotelzimmer durch neue Teppiche und Haartrockner ersetzt werden können, wird es aufgrund seiner strategischen Lage, ruhig im Trubel und mit Blick auf den See, eines der gehobensten Hotels in Xiamen sein ...

I particular enjoy the shower with comfortable temperature and pressure. Because I do not have a China mobile number for registration, the hotel staff is courteous to help to me to use the free wifi provided by the hotel.
