We had a wonderful stay at Yuxiang Hostel in April 2024 (a family of ten members). It is a beautiful place, everything is so charming, the house is beautifully laid out with terrasses, a cosy courtyard, an intimate dining area, and a garden. The host and the team at the hostel are extremely helpful, very warm and genuine. The breakfast is rich, very tasteful and varied. We also had lunch and dinner, very tasty too. Our children (12 and 13) and young people also enjoyed the stay very much, especially because all the people at the hostel are so friendly. We would like to thank our hosts for a wonderful stay, for being so welcoming and for the wonderful activities. Warm regards, Frederik, Karen and family (Denmark).

Alles ist ziemlich gut, aber so ein teures Hotel habe ich nicht erwartet, die Vorhänge sind nicht fest geschlossen Seltsam, hat sich noch niemand über dieses Zimmer beschwert? Wurde frühmorgens von der gleißenden Sonne geweckt und dann ließ sich der Vorhang nicht aufziehen? Auf den ersten Blick ein Konstruktionsfehler, als ich zum Frühstück nach unten ging, spiegelte ich das bei der Rezeption wider, und die Rezeption wirkte gleichgültig.
🚗 Transport: Es ist ziemlich bequem, es ist einfacher zu finden, es ist leicht zu identifizieren, wenn Sie mit dem Taxi kommen

Ich habe in diesem Hotel zehn Tage gelebt, und ich schließe die Verträge ein. Jedes Zimmer ist anders als 906 bis 1606. Die anderen sind ähnlich 905-1605. Die Hotelhalle ist sehr atmosphärisch. Es gibt einen Koffie-Safe für Kunden, das Restaurant im zweiten Stock ist sehr groß und es gibt viele chinesische Mahlzeiten, die auch miteinander verbunden werden können. Das einzige Defizit ist, dass die Teigflasche keine frische Nahrung erhält, die Teigflasche ist vorhanden. Sommer Teigflasche sollte ein bisschen grünes Teigflasche enthalten.

為了張學友演唱會來到了廈門，選了離體育館比較近的酒店，果然沒有讓我失望，地鐵3號線到浦西選4號出口，然後打車到酒店也就10-12元。
酒店大堂工作人員很熱情説邊上零食隨便拿，還有女孩子頭繩，面霜，香皂，真的一應俱全啊。辦理完手續領我們到電梯口，直接到達20樓，房間後面就可以看到一條大馬路，晚上景色特別美。因為邊上都是學校遠離喧囂，晚上睡得特別香。
二樓早餐也是很豐富的，牛奶，咖啡，豆漿都有，小米粥白米粥也有，另外各種菜餚，海鮮都有，西餐累的吐司麪包搭配培根，番茄，荷包蛋，都是美味啊！
雖然位置遠離景點了，但是住宿環境還是不錯的，值得點贊。

Auch die Rezeptionistin an der Rezeption war sehr begeistert und zeigte uns das Zimmer. Das Zimmer war komplett mit Klimaanlage, TV und Warmwassergeräten ausgestattet. Die Hygiene sieht sehr sauber aus. Sein Haus wird von einer Wäscherei gereinigt und desinfiziert, sodass Sie sich hier wohl fühlen können. Dann war auch das Servicepersonal sehr begeistert. Sie haben uns mehrere Zimmer gezeigt und ihre Einstellung war sehr gut.

Die Lage ist 15 Minuten Fahrt vom Tech Museum entfernt, es gibt einen unterirdischen Park und der Verkehr ist bequem. Es gibt viele Auswahlen, um unten zu essen, um zehn Minuten zu gehen, die ganze Straße zu essen. Vorteile: Das Hotel liegt ganz in der Nähe des Flughafens und bietet einen Abhol- und Bringservice zum Flughafen. Um 4:40 Uhr morgens steht ein spezieller Bus zur Verfügung. Das ist wirklich praktisch für uns, die um 6 Uhr abfliegen: 30 Uhr morgens. Außerdem gibt es einen Bus in 500 Metern Entfernung. Es ist sehr bequem, in die Stadt zu fahren und Büroarbeiten zu erledigen.
Nachteile: Es gibt keine Steckdose zum Aufladen am Bett, um eine zu finden, was beim Duschen sehr umständlich ist Ich muss die Abflusslochabdeckung anheben, um sie wieder in den Normalzustand zu versetzen. Ich frage mich, ob es sich um eine schlecht gestaltete Lochabdeckung handelt.

Without repeating my previous review, the rooms are new and excellent quality, the facilities perfect and the staff are exceptional - always friendly and amenable. Special mention for the housekeeping staff who seem to work tirelessly. I travel extensively so i can be fussy and sometimes dismissive of the ‘hotel experience’, but this hotel is really exceptional. I will return for sure

GGastnutzerAt first, we were disappointed because they put us into a small room that we felt was not worth the price we paid for. However, the next day they upgraded our room into a nice one with a separate toilet and shower area. There were wide windows and the view was the quiet road below and two small mountains in the distance. Not bad eh! This was the time we started feeling comfortable and relaxed in our 4 nights of stay here. The bed and pillows were firm and very good to sleep in. Good for relaxing after a long day of touring or working. There was a small dining table as well as some space or area to work and put your other stuff. The toilet is fully automated so it was really comfortable to use. The staff in general were accommodating and the female receptionist manning the lobby was always enthusiastic and helpful. On the other hand, location is far from downtown so it might cost you a bit more if you take the didi often. Also, breakfast fare was sparse when we were there, probably because it was still the tourist season. Not sure though but for whatever reason, when we got to the breakfast nook at around 8am, most of the food was gone. We had to wait for about 30 min for some trays to be refilled with food while the rest simply remained empty. If you don’t like local breakfast, then this hotel’s breakfast is not for you. Overall, it was a pleasant stay for us.

Wir werden sicher in Swiss Grand bei unserer nächsten Reise nach Xiamen zurück sein.

I'm very satisfied with the fact that my room was facing the Zhongshan Road. I felt quite lucky cause I could see the view of Zhongshan Road every morning and night just from my room window.
Service: Quite friendly, especially the cleaning and the restaurant staff. They are so kind to me and my father.
Although there was a little problem in communication since I can't speak Chinese well, I enjoyed my stay at Ibis Hotel.

EExpatThis hotel was priced above average considering the time of year and the neighboring hotels. I cannot say that my stay was very good here because of a few things. When I checked in the procedure for passport and everything was completed. They had to do the process again later that night. The water did go out while I stayed there but they fixed it within 20 minutes. The neighboring hotel and beach were doing construction, so I had lots of noise going on out my window early in the morning. The location is good because it’s close to the beach, however the dining advertised is at the hotel next to it. I did ask the Trip.com app to update the information for the hotel because the breakfast included was not what they would typically serve because they confirmed it depended on the number of guests. I could not eat the food that they offered me and they were not willing to adjust the price. trip.com offered me trip coins, however my overall stay here was disappointing because even the car gate was having delays. There were things such as maybe teabags or cotton swabs that I asked to have in the room, but none of those are offered. The view is very nice. The cleaning staff is very friendly. However their breakfast area was just an empty banquet room with empty shaving dishes and they had a family temporally making plates of whatever they decided. I definitely think this hotel needs to have some love and attention, especially considering that the neighboring hotels are upgrading their properties. I feel that the rates should’ve been lower considering all of the construction in the walkways behind the hotel. I honestly have no clue have dinner was available or not. I saw a total of three staff members there and then the family of three making the place of breakfast in the two days. The price of the hotel changed by 200 yuan in Trip.com in less than 12 hours on the day that I reserved. Only difference was that breakfast was not included.

SSarah MarDas Personal des Hotels war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Mein Mann und ich waren im siebten Stock und haben den Mitgliedern der Executive-Etage einen Nachmittagstee bereitgestellt ,ruhig und komfortabel. Wir haben den Nachmittagstee wirklich genossen. Wenn ich etwas vorschlagen kann, würde ich dringend empfehlen, den Teppich im Gästezimmer zu wechseln und den Haartrockner zu erneuern.
Der Service an der Rezeption und anderen Mitarbeitern im Marco Polo Hotel ist sehr herzlich und rücksichtsvoll. Der Hotelmanager Vincent hat uns geduldig bei der Lösung des Problems geholfen. Nachmittagstee im Executive-Gebäude im achten Stock. Obwohl es nicht viele Snacks gibt, genieße ich den Nachmittagstee sehr. MMacDsOnTourDas Hotel war in Ordnung. Das Bett war für westliche Verhältnisse etwas hart, aber alles war sehr sauber.
Ich kann gar nicht genug Gutes über Herrn Micheal Chen sagen, dessen Englisch außergewöhnlich und seine Höflichkeit unglaublich waren. Er half uns sogar, unsere Fährtickets nach Gulangyu zu buchen! Wenn Sie ihn treffen, fragen Sie nach Fawlty Towers! 🤣
Das Gleiche kann man von einer Dame, die am Frühstücksbuffet arbeitete, nicht sagen. Ich bekam einen Teller Brot zum Teilen und mir wurde gesagt, wenn ich Brot so sehr mag, dann verkaufen sie es!!!! Es kam mir so vor, als würde sie uns jedes Mal mustern, wenn wir etwas essen gingen. Ich bezweifle, dass sie das zu irgendjemandem mit einem Teller voller Knödel sagte. Wir fühlten uns jedes Mal unwohl, wenn wir danach zum Frühstück gingen, und das ist kein Zeichen für ein gutes Hotel. Ich werde nicht nach Xiamen zurückkehren, aber wegen ihr würde ich, wenn ich es täte, ein anderes Hotel wählen.

GGuest UserReally grateful for the free airport pickup. Added their number to my wechat and called them using wechat. Was given directions where to be picked up and asked to send a picture of how I look like. waited at the pickup point and even message them at exactly which location I'm at. Received a call later to ask where am I and also messaged me the car plate number. As the pickup point only allow 8mins of wait time, the driver was pretty pissed when I arrived. I mean, couldn't you have sent a picture of the car and the car plate number earlier?
Driver was smoking all the way while driving and I'm unfortunately seated behind him, breathing in all his smelly smoke. He opened his window but that didn't help, the wind has kept blowing the smoke into my face. Luckily it was a short drive. I feel that the hotel should educate their drivers not to smoke while driving. This is so selfish.
I got upgraded to a bigger room because they wanted me to give a good review. My room has a big window with the street view.
Room was clean and nice. Slippers given.
Toilet was badly designed. the shower head faces the toilet bowl and the sewage system is not good. After showering, the toilet flooded. I only realised the next morning that there are some buttons that you can switch on for ventilation in the toilet. The toilet was still flooded in the morning but I think if I have known about the buttons earlier, it would have been dried in the morning. The buttons are in chinese characters. Ask for help to decipher them.
The room has a projector but nothing was watchable. You need to have accounts to sign on to their various content provider.
The hotel is near a small street market with awesome and cheap food. There was also some supermarkets opened late into the night.
Cannot expect much from sound proofing as dead into the night, you can still hear food delivery rider delivering their food to occupants.
The driver in the morning did not smoke but when I told him that nobody asked me which terminal I'm going to, he insisted that it is impossible for them not to ask. I also cannot be bothered to argue. Why would I sabotage my own departure plans? Suggest that before the driver drives off, stressed which terminal you are going to. Terminal 3 for International flights, Terminal 4 for domestic flights. And they are not close to one another apparently.
Otherwise, the bed was quite comfy. The socket above the bedside table is almost falling off the wall.
