the front desk is friendly and cute and welcome. the location is good. there is no air conditioner. the elevator is older than me. the good thing is that you can deposit your baggage here till 11pm, that is really great

Ich habe hier schlechte Kritiken gelesen, aber es ist unendlich billiger als jede andere Option und es liegt mitten im Zentrum der Stadt. Es ist ein billiges Hostel ohne mehr und als solches wird es beworben, so zu punkten, als würde man für ein Luxushotel bezahlen, erscheint mir nicht fair.

The room didn’t have private w.c. and bathroom. But overall the beds were comfortable and clean. The windows didn’t have net, so if left open there were a lot of mosquitoes. There was a breakfast room which could be used by guests. The staff were friendly and location was accessible to main bus station, Rialto and some other important places by foot in less than 10 min

We stayed here for two nights in Venice and were so pleased with the hostel. Considering we were expecting to be sharing with other guests, we were delighted by a room for just the two of us. The balcony has a wonderful view over San Polo, and the hostel was perfect to get around Venice. The staff were so kind and lovely, spoke fluent English and were full of helpful directions and tips for places to visit. The only downside I would say is the lack of security for luggage pre-check in. We had to leave our bags after arriving at Venice at 5am, and waited till 7 to leave the bags. The room doesn’t have any locks so anybody could really walk in- I put my AirTag in our bags just incase but this wouldn’t be a problem if you check in straight away. I’ll definitely be returning, for the wonderful prices, staff, views and location. Thank you so much!

I have limited qualms with the locations or venue itself, but the idea that we cannot return post-0030, pre-0700 each night is absolutely absurd. Put a code on the door. With all of the shows and opportunities Venice presents, requiring people to come back to their apartment at some time is archaic. The sun doesn’t set until 10PM in the summer.

We where very happy with the hospitality, but not with room service we stayed 4 nights and not once the room was cleaned. Also we would suggest that for the room keys to be more protected. For example we just said the room number and without any questions they just handed the keys to us and for that reason we didn’t leave anything with value in the room we didn’t feel safe, it would be better for the receptionist who gives the keys to verify with id card or any other verification that is your room.

Really enjoyed the central location of the hostel. Close to the bus station and water bus locations! Staff was amazing! So kind and helpful.

A quaint old hostel on the island of Venice. Easy to find when coming from the bus or train. Quite old but it fits with the feel of Venice. The beds in my dorm weren’t the comfiest and the pillow was super skinny (so bring your own or sleep on a hoodie). No soap by the sinks to wash your hands after going ti the toilet. Great terrace on the top floor. Really nice social area and great views. Staff were friendly and helpful

A good value for money in the city centre. However, fans could have been more powerful. Its power is not enough to cool 2 people. The smell in the wardrobe left much do be desired. Overall, it gives the impression of proper dormitory. Take your soap/gel with you. The woman at the reception is hospitable and really charismatic. Despite the problem with the booking system, she sorted everything out quickly and was very welcoming. Thank you 😊
