Absolutely great service and friendly staff

Set in a beautiful garden setting on high ground overlooking sea. Old colonial style architecture. Rooms are basic but have no kettle in the room. Toiletries, mosquito nets, excellent WiFi. Lovely staff. Great big breakfast and excellent coffee. No pool. Beach is long way downhill surrounded by mangrove. Need to walk some distance Shops and main road for transport nearby. Airport 4 kilometres, a Taxis costs 20000 Tsh. The number 506 dala dala goes into Stone Town from Mimi cafe.. Would definitely stay again

酒店很差勁，因為颱風天氣，導致不能上島，多次溝通，酒店就是不退，再也不訂這個酒店了，垃圾 This hotel is not nice for customers because of their service, i will never order it again.😡😡😡😡😡😡😡

- unerträgliche Hitze im Zimmer - eine rechte Absteige - Fotos stimmen teilweise nicht mit der Realität zusammen - essen ist sehr teuere und einfältig - In der nähe kann man zu Fuss kein Restaurant erreichen - Bett sehr hart - Unfähiger Manager - Taxi koste vom Hotel zum Flughafen aus 50 Dollar für 10 Minuten fahrt, wir waren hartnäckig und bekamen es für 10 Dollar

Wir verbrachten 3 Nächte im Hotel. Das Zimmer ist sehr einfach, kein Stauraum, keine Dekoration. Auf der anderen Seite ein lächelndes Personal, immer verfügbar und aufmerksam, ein günstiges und gutes Restaurant und schließlich eine atemberaubende Aussicht bei Sonnenuntergang... Ich empfehle 👍🏼

Wir haben dies in letzter Minute gebucht, um näher an Stone Town und dem Flughafen zu sein, da wir einen Flug in den frühen Morgenstunden hatten. Wir buchten zwei Nächte, obwohl wir in den frühen Morgenstunden abreisten, aber uns ein Zimmer zum Schlafen vor dem Flughafen freihalten wollten. Gutes Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis. Die Fahrt zum Manor ist beeindruckend, wie ein altes, weiß getünchtes Kolonialgebäude, wo man von Personal empfangen wurde, das das Gepäck entgegennahm. Einfaches Einchecken und zum Zimmer geführt, nur eine Treppe, also kein Aufzug. Gemeinschaftslounge im Obergeschoss mit Blick auf weitläufige Gärten und Meerblick. Unser Zimmer war groß genug, die Fensterläden konnten geöffnet werden, hatten aber ein Netzfenster, um Insekten abzuhalten, das Klimaanlagennetz über dem Bett hatte englische Steckdosen. Flasche Wasser, bequemes, sauberes Bett. Badezimmer angemessen, könnte zwar renoviert werden, aber sauber, kein Duschvorhang, sodass das Wasser überall hin spritzte, aber viel herrliches heißes Wasser. Ruhige Lage. Frühstück auf der Veranda, Frühstücksmenü, aber gute Auswahl. Wir hatten eines Abends ein festes Menü zum Abendessen, aber wenn uns das Menü nicht gefiel, gab es eine Alternative, würde es auf jeden Fall empfehlen und würde wiederkommen

We really enjoyed our stay at the Manor House ! It's a beautiful place, very clean, very quiet, where it's good to relax ! The staff is adorable, very welcoming and caring. There is no dinner offered in the evening, but it is possible to order at a nearby restaurant and have it delivered ! We recommend because we had a great time. In addition, for the same quality, we paid almost two times less than in other hotels.

- Amazing building and gardens overlooking the sea (west coast), you can’t believe you’re staying somewhere so beautiful for that price. Unbelievable sunsets! - Staff are so friendly - particularly Richard (front of house), Catherine the chef, and Joel the Masai guard - Service is brilliant - they will take in your bags for you and do all they can to help you - We stayed one night after a late flight from the mainland as it was close to the airport - great location and meant we didn’t need to drive into Stone Town which is not fun to drive in - Free and secure parking - WiFi - Incredible breakfast which is included (!) - So cheap for the level of service you get - We liked it so much that we decided to come here for dinner on our last day in Zanzibar which was delicious - The car we had rented broke down outside the gates, blocking the driveway. About six staff members all came to help us push the car up the hill and out of the way, which was so kind. The manager also called our car rental company for us to ask them to come and fix our car. While we waited, they gave us a welcome juice drink and took in our bags. They are amazing. Only cons are that the bathrooms are a bit tired and could do with updating - though for the price you wouldn’t expect much better! There’s also no air con but I didn’t get too hot.

Very nice Hotel. We were greeted by the friendly and helpful manager and brought to our room. The room was very clean ( the cleanest room we encountered on Zanzibar), the bed very comfortable. The only thing that could´ve been better is the bathroom, as the shower cubicle has seen better days. Otherwise our stay was perfect. The breakfast was amazing!

We spent 5 glorious nights here. The hotel and gardens are beautiful, it’s an oasis of peace and tranquillity. The staff are incredibly happy and professional and we will definitely return. Everywhere was clean and had everything we needed. Such a charming hotel!

Good hotel near the airport (5-10mn) and not so far from Stone Town. The crew members are all welcoming, Ali, Sofia .... The breakfast is delicious (swahili pancake , fresh fruits...) The room was nice, proper and with a beautiful view. Thank you

If you're looking for some calm after visiting Stone Town, go straight to The Manor House. Just a few miles from the city center, the place offers a really nice view on the ocean in a peacefull garden. This typical omanian house as a lot of charm and the staff is attentive to clients needs. Breakfast is fresh and delicious. I would recommend the place to others.
