+ großes, modernes Zimmer mit Kühlschrank, Wasserkocher und Kaffeemaschine mit zum Ententeich ausgerichteten Balkon (abends Mückenalarm!!!), mir wurde extra Mückenspray vom Hotel zur Verfügung gestellt (danke) ○ Bad groß zum straßenseitigen Treppenaufgang ausgerichtet, daher Geräuschpegel hoch - Restaurant: Personal super freundlich und hilfsbereit (+), Essen einfallslos, Frühstück -> gibt es wo anders in Tsumeb besseres (Deli vor dem Tor oder Sonja's kitchen) , Abendessen im Makelani a la carte besser + 50m Pool + 1 Stunde von Etosha entfernt

Sehr tolle weitläufige Anlage mit Campingplatz etwas außerhalb. Zimmer bzw. „Doppelhaushälfte“ sehr großzügig. Pool riesig aber eiskalt. Restaurant absolut überragend und sehr günstig. Frühstück vom Buffet und man kann zusätzlich alles von der Karte wählen (Eierspeisen, French Toast …).

We stayed here for 1 night as part of our 20 tour across Southern Africa. This was our best accommodation of the entire trip. We wish we could have stayed longer. Our room was huge and beautifully appointed. The service here was excellent. We had a lovely welcome and felt immediately at home.

The resort is beautiful upon entering. However, our unit (16) was filthy, even though two cleaners exited the unit when we arrived. The toilet was smelly, with very little toilet paper left on the roll. There was almost no soap in the dispensers available. We found all sorts of bugs and worms inside, including a black scorpion! The carpet hadn't been cleaned in a long time, and the unit had a dusty smell. The locks on the two windows by the entrance were broken, and the perspex dividing screens were fastened with plastic. The verandas hadn't been cleaned, as leaves were scattered everywhere. We couldn't use the rusted braai. Photos have been taken of everything as proof. This experience was very disappointing indeed.

We stayed in the resort for one night during our Namibia trip. The resort is well equipped and there are different accommodation types for different needs. The resort is clean and we had a very nice dinner at the restaurant. Will definitely stay there again.

Whilst sat at the restaurant reading other reviews about the resort double charging, I checked my bank account and I had been double charged! The reception refunded me but was that only because I was present? I then got bitten by bed bugs that night in the bed. My arm is still full of bites a week later.

Actually quite a nice and modern resort. However I had room 31, which had bedbugs in the bed and as such I had a horrible night and got bitten too pieces. First time in 20 years traveling that I encountered that. Reception just said they will tell housekeeping!!

Despite initial promise, Kupferquelle's management left us deeply disappointed by reneging on a promised refund for a medically necessary cancellation, showing a lack of professionalism and empathy. In more detail, de stayed at many hotels and resorts across Africa during our multi-month overland trip, so we were excited to recharge at Kupferquelle, which had good reviews and appeared to be a professional, welcoming establishment. We chose it especially for my wife, who had experienced a small accident, making it difficult for her to walk, and as I also needed easy access to medical support. However, upon arrival, we discovered that our booked room was located over 200 meters from the main facilities, including the restaurant. Given our medical situation, this was impractical. We explained this to the reception team, who initially were very understanding and agreed to cancel our booking without penalty and assured us we would receive a full refund. Relieved, we arranged an alternative stay elsewhere. Unfortunately, this is where things took a disappointing turn. Despite filling out forms and exchanging a dozen emails over several months, we had to repeatedly follow up, only to finally be informed by management—four months later—that refunds were against their policy. This was a complete reversal of what we were promised. While the reception staff was friendly and helpful, we feel the management handled this situation unprofessionally. The lack of transparency and prolonged delay in communication were frustrating, especially given Kupferquelle’s reputation for high-quality service. We had expected better customer care, especially considering the medical nature of our request. We hope this review helps future travelers to be mindful of not only the amenities and photos but also the quality of service and responsiveness of management. We would advise other travelers to consider how customer satisfaction and empathy are prioritized, especially in unforeseen circumstances.

It’s a beautiful place and situated centrally. The house keeping teams just wake up guests around 7:30 for cleaning and that’s the only thing that needs to be addressed or scheduled shared amongst staff for guests check out times

I want to warn everyone, never book this hotel, even through Booking or other websites. These are thieves. For 3 months now I have not been able to receive payment for a canceled order. I wrote to them many times and filled out a return form. I didn't receive any money. Jeg vil advare alle, aldri bestill dette hotellet, selv ikke gjennom Booking eller andre nettsteder. Dette er tyver. I 3 måneder nå har jeg ikke kunnet motta betaling for en kansellert bestilling. Jeg skrev til dem mange ganger og fylte ut et returskjema. Jeg fikk ingen penger.
