Beautifully designed property with the mix of the old and new, which gives the perfect vibe for the city. Room was comfortable and clean. The breakfast, although with limited options was satisfying. Felt like there was more sweet than savory food. Coffee was good. There was a bit of a hiccup during the check-in as there was nobody at the property, so it took us about 20 minutes just to figure out how to get the keys to get in. Make sure to get in touch with the host prior to your stay.

Absolutely fantastic place to stay, very friendly, very clean, very unique, charming. Our room was immaculate and exquisite in style. The bathroom was spacious, very clean and shower water pressure impressive. Breakfast was full of variety with homemade cakes and biscuits. Giusy and breakfast staff (sorry I couldn't remember her name) were wonderful with full of tips for sightseeing and very very welcoming. We will definitely come back again.

Dimora Botteghelle exceeded our expectations by leaps and bounds. It is a cross between a B & B and an apartment where breakfast is served. Our initial reaction when our driver dropped us off was one of confusion. What we did not realize was that the entry doors to the hotel are locked after 4:00 pm, if the restaurant isn't open that evening, and there is no staff to greet guests. The staff arrives at about 7:00 am and leaves at approximately 4:00 pm. We thought someone would be there 24/7. That being said, the location was great , walking distance to everything and the room fabulous. Large, spacious, excellent HVAC, good internet connection and great water pressure. The room was marvelous. The breakfast served is a very europena/sicilian style meal. Besides Grand Hotel Villa Igiea in Palermo, this was our favorite hotel we stayed during our 3 weeks in Sicily. Don't be deterred by your first impression.

Wow…what a beautiful building! Our room was so large and gorgeous! There was a complete living room area in addition to the bedroom and as far as bathroom sizes in Sicily, it was large as well. Everything was tastefully done and very comfortable. Breakfast was delicious and it was really nice having the bar in the evening. The location is great, right on the edge of the old city and very walkable. Parking is challenging but within walking distance. The owner was only present during breakfast but very friendly and sweet.

This is a difficult review to write. We didn’t really enjoy our stay here despite the lovely room and excellent breakfast. The customer service was dreadful. Before we arrived we were inundated with messages and questions including several asking our time of arrival and demanding we complete an obligatory online passport registration. As check-in was self-checkin these constant requests were just plain annoying. We arrived by bus and found it impossible to get a taxi as it was a public holiday and the streets were empty. Our What’s App message to management requesting help calling a taxi received the answer, ‘reception is closed, here is a number for you to call’. That number did not answer. Further request for help was met with a refusal as ‘reception was closed’. Distressing. After some time we were able to get a taxi and self-checked in (with help from a neighbour who called out the code from above). Once inside we carted our suitcases up two flights of stairs to our room which was lovely. We were however paying top dollar for the room and were surprised that we had to pay extra for bottled drinking water! A first for us … there was a hot plate in a cupboard but no tea making facility or even an electric kettle for boiling water. Our departure was unpleasant. We are two women well in our seventies and got no help in carrying our suitcases down the two flights of steep stairs. I would not recommend this B and B. That’s all it was a comfortable bed and an uninspiring breakfast - no real hospitality. M

Not only charming and beautiful but clean and friendly (Rita, and the man who makes wonderful espressos and lattes and cappuccinos) the General Manager and owners were 5 stars ⭐️ and more !! Ask fit where to park a few minutes away for free, get ready for a lovely room -love the decor and fantastic breakfast 😀 Grazie Mil LC

A part le décor soigné et le personnel compétent et aimable, le cuisine est déplorable. Les escalopine au citron et romarin sont tellement acides qu'elles en donneraient des nausées. Je pense qu'il s'agissait de masquer la fraîcheur de la viande qui m'a d'ailleurs interpellée. Sans compter la présentation...Le tiramisu est plus qu'inspire. Les prix injustifiés

Nous avons dîné dans ce restaurant. A part le cadre soigné, le personnel professionnel et très aimable, la nourriture était immonde. Nous avons pris des escalopine au citron et romarin. Déjà le contenu de l'assiette ressemblait à une bouillie. Au goût, je n'ai jamais mangé un plat aussi acide, peut être pour masquer la fraîcheur de la viande. Le tiramisu quant à lui était insipide. Mauvais et cher.

Capitati perché attirati dalla tipologia di locale senza nessuna informazione precedente. È stata una sorpresa bellissima: qualità delle materie prime eccezionale (io ho provato pesce spada alla griglia …assolutamente perfetto) cortesia e competenza del giovane personale, ottimi cocktail analcolici… insomma super consigliato. Vogliamo provare il cuscus: sabato lo preparano… poi vi dirò
