Tisza Lodge B&B - Panzio

A little zen zone, a true stress free zone. Owned by Anita and Patrick, a kind and nice Belgian couple who speaks Hungarian as well. The lodge was and old farm building (barn) renovated completely and transformed to a Lodge. The first I noticed was the beautiful garden with many eye-catching details, flowers in all colors, sun- beds, petanque, little relaxing pool, “bee and bee”, birds. Nice touch was my name on the welcoming board at the day of my arrival. The Lodge was always superclean, well-equipped, simple but modern styled, has a common living room with books and TV, working free wifi in the rooms. It also has a small kitchen for guest to keep their food, equipped with tablewear, as no dinner served there only breakfast. There are wide range of choice of beverages in the kitchen, functioning as “mini bar”. The breakfast is mainly home made by the owners (home made fresh bread, cookies, jams etc). All taste yummy. Anita and Patrick can give advices what to see around the Lake Tisza, there are brochures as well in the Lodge. You can rent bike from them as well to discover the area. You can buy souvenirs in the Lodge as well like the jams made by the owners. The room does not have TV (it is available in the living room only), which first was strange but honestly I did not miss it at all. There are far more interesting thing to do there and you are rather sleeping in the evening after all day trips. Definitely returning.

A very nice B&B owned by very kind Belgian couple Patrick and Anita. Although the weather was not so good Patrick and Anita did everything to make our stay unforgettable. The lodge and the rooms were super clean. Breakfast is home made (bread, cakes, jams,....) and everything tasted very good. Patrick and Anita gave us advice on what to do or what to visit in the area and for everything brochures or maps were available. When needed they also helped with the reservations (restaurants, boat trip on the Tisza lake,...) and when we had a flat tire they helped us to find a garage that was able to fix the problem. Location of the lodge is great for birding in the Tisza area and the Hortobagy NP.

Prachtige locatie met supervriendelijke uitbaters die ons heel veel tips gaven qua activiteiten en eetgelegenheden. Zeer nette kamers en heel lekker uitgebreid ontbijt. We werden hier echt in de watten gelegd! Alles was tiptop in orde! Zeker een aanrader!

Zelfs tijdens coronaperiode hier terecht gekunnen bij Patrick en Anita. Zoals reeds heel veel beoordelingen weergeven zullen zij er alles aan doen om het hun gasten naar hun zin te maken. Ze zijn een voorbeeld voor velen als gastvrouw en gastheer. Gelukkig door een zeldzame annulatie konden we zelfs iets langer blijven als oorspronkelijk geboekt was.
