Das Hotel ist sehr sauber. Bei der Ankunft wurde unser Mietauto in Empfang genommen. Wir wurden sehr freundlich empfangen an der Reception. Hotel hat eine sehr schöne Lobby und die Zimmer sind auch sehr schön. Das beste ist die Aussicht auf Taormina, traumhaft schön. Das historical centro liegt in kurzer Gehdistanz zum Hotel. Frühstück ist für italienische Verhältnisse sehr gut. Es gint kein Buffet auf Grund von Corona, aber man muss nicht lange amstehen, um auswählen zu dürfen an der Theke.

Die Lage und die Aussicht auf das Hotel sind makellos und die Zimmer bieten einen unvergleichlichen Meer- und Bergblick. Die Einrichtungen sind eigentlich sehr gut, aber das seltsame Design des Duschkopfs im Bad macht das Bad extrem umständlich. Das Hotel ist das alte große Theater, und es ist die Stadt, die weiter untergeht. Die Entfernungen sind genau richtig. Der Strand ist nicht gut, aber die Strände in Süditalien sind die gleichen. Es ist die Art von großkörnigem Sandsteinstrand, der sehr gemahlen ist. Ich bin nur unzufrieden, dass die Italiener wirklich zu spielbar sind. Die Party spielt immer noch um 12:30 Uhr laut Musik. Es ist keine Beschwerde, dass es schätzungsweise nicht mehrmals geschlossen wird. Das Parken ist auch etwas schwierig, wir haben alle in der ca. 2 km entfernten Tiefgarage des Parkplatzes Lumbi geparkt und sind dann mit dem Shuttlebus bequem gefahren.

I thoroughly searched for the perfect place to stay since we have 2 teenagers and stayed for almost a month. Incredible staff From the moment, I first contacted this hotel with my many questions until we checked out, the patience, service and warmth of Cristian and Sara was incredible! Crisitan even saved a special side trip I planned for my daughter’s birthday. He was always available! A special thank you to Crisitian for helping us out. Perfect location We stayed in the Green Palm apartment. It’s a few steps away from the main square but nestled in a tiny street so it’s quiet. There is a nearby supermarket and even a washeteria a few steps away. The washeteria offers self-service or pay a little extra and they will wash your clothes. They even delivered it to the hotel as a courtesy. Cleanliness – 5 star ++ experience! I am very picky about hotel cleanliness, and this hotel was spotless! Simona, the housekeeper, ensured that the apartment was perfect every day. Daily housekeeping was such a plus for us during our extended stay! Simona worked with such pleasure and from the heart. She became a friend. Furniture-Like one reviewer, this apartment is decorated to a high modern standard furnishing. Super high quality and new. I loved the feel of the apartment. Lastly, I had the pleasure of meeting the owner of La Malandrina. He invited us to his beautiful lounge bar and was incredibly hospitable. Such a nice gesture! Bottom line – DO NOT hesitate! This hotel is one of the best I’ve stayed at with my family and we are experienced international travelers. The staff goes above and beyond to ensure the highest level of service.

Wir waren einige Tage Ende April in diesem Hotel, das es seit 1904 gibt...und waren restlos zufrieden! Ein mit Antiquitäten eingerichtetes Hotel passt nicht nur zum Stil und Alter des Hotels...sondern auch zum Ort Taormina! Obwohl wir nur - wörtlich! - um die Ecke gehen mussten um mitten im Geschehen zu sein , nämlich an einem der zwei Eingangstore der Umberto : war es traumhaft ruhig! Wir hatten ein Zimmer mit Meerblick und Balkon gebucht : nun ja ... die mini Balkone dort fassen gerade einmal 2 Stühle und man muss sich der Relation des Aufpreises im klaren sein, ob man das braucht. Auch den Aufpreis des Meerblickes - so phantastisch er auch ist - kann man sich ggfs. sparen...weil der andere Blick in die bewaldete Höhe auch keinen Nachteil bietet. Die Zimmergrösse war phanstastisch und glich einer Suite mit einem grossen Eingansgbereich mit eingebauten Schränken und im Bad hätte man tanzen können! Das Personal extrem freundlichst und vor dem Hotel hat man jenen phantastischen Blick auf Ätna und Meer ...wenn man sich mit einem Getränk dort nieder lässt - egal ob Tag oder Nacht. Auch das ganz zu öffnende kleine Restaurant bietet denselben Blick - die Preise waren absolut moderat...über die Qualität der Speisen kann ich jedoch keine Auskunft geben, da wir uns immer verführen liessen von den unendlichen Angeboten rings um uns herum! Das Frühstück jedoch im grossen hellen luftigen FR-Restaurant ( leider kein draussen sitzen möglich...aber man ist ja den ganzen Tag draussen danach ) lässt keine Wünsche offen ( wenn man weder Lachs noch Kaviar erwartet ) und hervor heben möchte ich frisch gepressten Orangensaft inklusive ( den man sich selbst pressen kann!) Ein Traum ist der sehr grosse Park mit lauschigen Plätzchen und eine Stufe darunter der Pool mit Pool-Restaurant mit direktem Blick aufs Meer auf jenen Felsen gelegen! Gerne kommen wir wieder...diesmal war es das Ende einer Radreise - das nöchste mal wird es eine Rundreise auf den äolischen Inseln sein zuvor!

Al Duomo ist kein Hotel. In der Tat hat es keine Rezeption. Alles wird mit sicherer E-Mail gemacht. Piazza Duomo ist die charmanteste Platz in Taormina mit voller Restaurants. Genau neben der Piazza ist Al Duomo Zimmer & Flats. Das Zimmer ist sauber, funktionell und hat einen Blick auf die Piazza. Kein Aufzug, aber wir haben es nicht gedacht. Einige Hotels zahlen Tausende Euro pro Nacht. Nicht sicher warum. Ich bevorzuge diesen Platz über The Belmond. Es ist nicht wegen des Preises. Daher konnte ich zwei Tage lang in einer Reihe schlafen. Wenn ich in Taormina Al Duomo Zimmer & Flats bin, ist mein Aufenthaltsort.

Wir kommen mit der Buchung gelöscht und bezahlt, sehr unerträgliche und schreiende Eigentümer sagen uns, dass die Buchung nicht existiert und dass wir 45 € zahlen müssen, sagen wir ihnen, dass sie nicht bezahlt sind und sagen uns, dass das Internet nicht funktioniert und dass es nicht funktioniert. Sie können die Buchung sehen, wir lehren die Bonus und sie sagen immer noch, dass wir nicht bezahlen müssen und sie werfen uns aus dem Ort mit schlechten Worten und Beleidigungen, wir warten jetzt auf eine Lösung logtravel, aber wir werden sicher nicht in diesem Hotel schlafen, Wir sind aus Palermo, durch Trapani, Agrigento und Catania, wir sind in Taormina und in Palermo, wir sind in mehreren Hotels ohne irgendein Problem hier in Taormina mit Problemen nur zu kommen, Wir hoffen, dass Logitravel uns ein anderes Hotel oder eine Gelderrückzahlung gewährt, und ich empfehle sicher nicht, dass dieses Hotel eine Schande von Mutter und Sohn, die uns immer diskutieren und uns immer beledigen.
