Travelodge Tamworth Central Hotel

Had a lovely stay at Travelodge Central in Tamworth. Loved how it was placed right next to Lidl, Burger King across the Rd. Wetherspoons 50 yards away, right by Tamworth Town. All at convenient walking distance. One added feature would be nice. As the walkway to Hotel Entrance is wide, a nice feature would be to add a couple of Benches, where Guests, especially older Guests, could sit while waiting for Taxi or pick-up.

Nice clean room, was a bit smaller than I was expecting, but still good, will be back end of the month

First time staying here & very comfortable. Clean room & comfy beds. Tara on reception was extremely helpful & was very welcoming!! Made us feel very comfortable after a long drive.

Tara was amazing on reception and helped us with whatever we needed, glasses, hair dryer and was nice and chatty.

Our stay was absolutely brilliant, we was able to book in early for an extra fee but when you have travelled 300 miles it was a great welcome. Room was very clean. A fan in the room because the heat was stifling. Staff were amazing couldn't do enough. A special thanks to Katie 🥰 thanks for a brilliant stay and have booked again for Christmas 🤓

A warm and helpful welcome from Amanda on reception on arrival despite the lateness of the hour. Clean, quiet and functional room. Recommended.

Some might say this is just a basic travelodge, others might stay it’s just a basic room with a basic hotel experience…nothing special. Well … those people have not met Amanda and Emma on reception at Travelodge Tamworth Central. A pair of weary travels we were as we entered reception, having staggered up several flights of stairs following our gig down in Kidderminster. Sensing the need for the performance of their lives in our tired faces, Amanda and Emma immediately set to work making us feel comfortable with a warm welcome and light touch of comedy. A formidable duo with just the right level of banter, all of the extras were offered gently, and not in a pushy ‘sales’ way, but just enough for us to consider that we may well be missing out on something awesome should we not purchase the breakfast box. We only declined due to already being furnished with sustenance earlier… otherwise we would have ordered 10. Many a laugh was had during check in and we were left in no doubt that we, us, had been seen, welcomed and appreciated. I felt that I was important to Amanda and Emma and that my custom was appreciated. We bid each other good night and retired to our rooms, safe in the knowledge that our every need would be catered for and should we need anything, we need only ask… The rooms are clean, tidy, and exactly what we need for the night. Parking on site too. Thanks very much! Ps Amanda and Emma are awesome and they should get pay rises or some sort of bonus. I don’t mean like a bunch of flowers, maybe a one off financial bonus or maybe a voucher for a nice meal somewhere. Management, you know what to do!

Stayed here on Saturday 29th September Was greeted by a very pleasant team member, think her name may be Tania. We checked in around 5pm Room was very clean and the hotel looked well looked after The customer service was exceptional from the team member above Would recommend this hotel to anyone Superb stay, thank you

Great place, lots of amenities around and close to Tamworth Town centre. Receptionist Katie was exceptional pleasant and very proffessional. Room great clean and tidy.
