Tango Hotels in Taipeh

Everything was as stated on the website. Checkin was very easy as most of the clerks could speak english. The rooms were very big. The king bed was very comfortable, and that's coming from someone who has back problems. The breakfast was also very good. They had enough variety for any appetite. Nice place to stay at a good price.

Als wir abends im Hotel ankamen, hatte das Personal die Check-in-Informationen vorbereitet und wir konnten schnell einchecken. Das Zimmer war groß und es gab einen kleinen Balkon mit einer Waschmaschine, die auch getrocknet werden konnte Ein großer Schreibtisch im Zimmer und der Kühlschrank hatten drei Dosen, eine große Badezimmerwanne und eine gute Schalldämmung im Zimmer. Ich werde mich beim nächsten Mal für diese Gruppe entscheiden

I stayed at this hotel because it had the amenities I was looking for compared to the price and the surrounding hotels. I also had a full day too or the next day with a meeting spot not too far away (Check out full-day tour Shilin, Jiufen, Geopark). The room is beautiful and clean and the area quite nice because there’s some local businesses nearby who are quite friendly to foreigners. Cool bar next door. My only disappointment was the fact that they have a bar listed and it’s not really quite a bar in the lobby which was chilly anyway. The room is very comfortable and the view is nice. I did not go swimming in the pool, but it was definitely a comfortable spot. The other thing I want to mention is the late check-in time. If you want to check in earlier, you have to pay a certain amount of money extra in TWD. I noticed that some hotels do the late check-in process, but I don’t feel this hotel should necessarily do that. They were able to check me in early with the extra fee after a delayed rain flight. Happy with it mostly.MRT across street is bonus. Uber easy to grab.

Having stayed in hotels around the world for mandatory Covid quarantine, I found the Tango Taipei Changan among the best of them. The hotel does everything possible to make one’s stay as comfortable as possible within the quarantine regulations. An espresso coffee machine and microwave oven is provided and, to my surprise I even found a washing machine / drier combination installed in the room. Ample amounts of coffee, tea and bottled mineral water. The room is comfortable and very clean with free high speed wifi, flatscreen TV and a private balcony. The bathroom has a jacuzzi bath and separate large shower. Large amount of towels and toiletries available. Tasty meals are provided by the many restaurants in the vicinity of the hotel with mostly a soup starter, mixed fruit desert and a drink. I was surprised with a text message that an afternoon snack/drink was delivered at my door. The hotel staff is very helpful and friendly. My choice for the future visits to Taipei.

Location next to railway station which is good However, check in and check out time too rigid - Even though we carried a one-year old child, staff called up at 1057hours to urge us to check out at 1100hours which is very strange across hotel all over the world. Early check in is not available- only at 1600 hours or you had to pay TWD 500 per hour for early check in Hygiene - When we enter the room - we saw a spider on the wall Facilities - Breakfast is the worst we have ever seen in a hotel with limited choice of food. Breakfast ended at 1030 hours even on weekend... there are many pillows in the room but all of them were so soft... Overall the experience was just soso....

Am heißen Sommernachmittag war es überrascht, als wir ursprünglich zum Hotel angekommen waren. Die Tür des Hotels ist geschlossen, und der Kellner sagte, das Hotel sei aufgrund des Typens desinfiziert. Da sein Mann eine Geschäftskonferenz geplant hatte, führte der Fahrer des Hotels uns zum nächsten Stiefsyster-Hotel zum Bad und zum Wechsel von Kleidung. Dann ließ er uns an den Tagungsplatz. Wir haben zwei Nächte in der Präsidentschaftssuite gelebt und das Zimmer mit modernen Einrichtungen ausgestattet, die in kleinen Wohnungsräumen benötigt werden. Darüber hinaus ist es sehr wünschenswert, dass die automatischen Wäschereien und Toiletten sehr wunderbar sind. Alles in dem Zimmer (Licht, Fenster, TV, DVD) kann über einen Fernbedienungssystem betrieben werden. Der Videokanal wird von der Leuchte übertragen, es gibt keinen unklaren Kanal. Es gibt noch etwas, das eine Freude hat! Die U-Bahn ist direkt neben den Vordertüren, umgeben von schnellen Restaurants und verschiedenen Geschäften. Dieses Hotel ist sehr geeignet für Liebe, aber es empfiehlt nicht, hier Familien mit Kindern zu leben. Das Zimmer hat keine Maßnahmen zum Schutz von Kindern, außerdem ist das Zimmer nicht sehr groß und es gibt keinen Garten, um Kinder zu spielen.

Stayed in The Tango Taipei Linsen for 15 nights of my compulsory Taiwan quarantine period, during July 2021. The booking, as it's for Taiwan entry quarantine purpose, had be to done directly through them. Their good and efficient service started from there, with clear and prompt communication for my booking and payment. The great service continued and became even better once checked in. They understand how difficult it is for a guest that is going through a 15- night quarantine in Taiwan, hence they would do anything to help, from answering relevant questions, helping with any needs during the stay etc. All the communication with the reception staff was efficiently done through their LINE instant messaging. They even once 'rescued' me from my original room due to an uncontrollable leakage of air-con water flooding, by immediately changed me to another room with the same specifications, which was justifiable during the quarantine. I booked and stayed with a slightly larger room (Junior Suite/尊榮套房), and the layout was great to force myself, as for the quarantine period, to maintain a healthy routine. It has a bedroom area and a separate office/lounge area. It was definitely worth the little extra money! The room came with all the necessary amenities I needed for the 15-nights and they were always ready to supply more if needed. What's more important was, it was spotless clean and hygienic! The whole hotel is currently, as this review is written, served as a quarantine hotel, so no concern of mixing the hotel guests. The stay I booked included all meals, and I must say they did look out for the variety, tastiness and even the nutritional balance of all meals. Considering there was very little difference in prices (only 200 NT extra per room per night), I'd recommend the meal-included option when booking their quarantine rooms. If that still didn't satisfy, online orders of takeaway food could be ordered anytime, and they would deliver to my door. I was going to check in to another Tango Hotel (Tango Inn Zhongshan) upon the completion of my quarantine. The staff, without me having requested, liaised directly with the other Tango Hotel, to allow me to check in as early as midday. Then that's the 'extra mile' they went for me! Overall for the purpose of a hotel quarantine, it was a very pleasant stay, all made possible by the kind, thoughtful staff and the hotel's professional services. Thank you once again!
