Location is quite a distance from the city centre. Need to walk 10-15min to find local shops and eateries. Just across the hotel got a good-size supermarket. Bought local fruits for breakfast. No malls, night markets or shopping areas nearby. Room is spacious but rather old that needs upgrading. The staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast is good but selection rather limited. No yogurt and limited selection of fruits. Overall a reasonable good stay.

透過攜程新用戶優惠預訂，貴賓大床房平日一晚3061，酒店位於台灣大道上，屬台中市的交通要道，十分方便，離逢甲觀光夜市車程約10分鐘，房間內裝潢古典風，床睡起來軟硬適中，本人覺得舒服好睡，泳池三溫暖皆有開放，三溫暖使用前須預約。 早餐菜色算豐富，有提供台中的特色炒麵佐東泉辣椒醬，鮮搾果汁蠻好喝的，與我同住的男友也十分喜歡早餐的菜色 台中長榮桂冠酒店算是台灣CP值很高的五星級酒店，雖然建築物與設備上有年代感，但都感受到有用心維護，下次來台中會再次造訪！

Beautiful lobby. Breakfast buffet is nice but get there early ; although it closes at 10 am (they start hustling people out of dining area around that time), they start removing the labels at like 9:30 ish so if you don’t know what you are eating then you won’t. But the breakfast buffet is huge and nice so if it is included in your hotel stay it’s a nice perk. Service is a little rushed . But hey just have the timing off a little bit and not always the most welcoming .

Das Zimmer ist sehr komfortabel und die Stadtblick ist ausgezeichnet. Die Lage ist hervorragend mit vielen Einkaufsmöglichkeiten um. Das Frühstück ist gut mit vielen Wahlen. Der Korridor-Tief ist geräuchert (stark geräuchert von Drainage-Pipe Problem).

Die Lage ist sehr gut. In der Yizhong Street in der Nähe gibt es viele leckere Gerichte. Es ist auch sehr praktisch, mit dem Bus zum Sun Moon Lake zu fahren. Auch die Leute an der Rezeption waren sehr geduldig und insgesamt nett. Ich würde sie Freunden empfehlen.

Das Bett hat genau die richtige Weichheit und Festigkeit zum Schlafen, sodass es sehr bequem und gut schläfbar ist. Das Zimmer ist sauber und ordentlich, mit kompletter Ausstattung. Hotel opened ~12mo ago, entire building is new. Whatever growing pains it had, the Le Meridien Taichung has figured most of them out. This brand can be hit/miss depending on city, but the Le Meridien Taichung is a great property. Well-appointed rooms are huge (60 sq m+), even the walk-in shower is huge. Lots of electrical outlets/USB for charging devices. Wi-Fi access points work everywhere in the building. Great views of the Central/East Districts and Main Station, especially at night. Amazing price point for this level of hotel quality. Service is where Le Meridien Taichung shines. Exec Lounge team so helpful, special thanks to Angel, Lisa, Irin, Yang. Concierge helped us with check-in and restaurants (Billy, Wilber, Debbie). And Marriott app chat with Front Desk works great, responded within minutes. Parking in the underground garage (elevators run directly to room floors with your key) with in/out privileges is free for guests. Front Desk will add your license plate number, cameras at gates will read it. Oddly, the Marriott app shows daily fee TWD 2400 which is almost half the daily rate. (Obviously still ironing out some stuff.)

Ich habe dieses Hotel reserviert, da es gesagt wurde, es gibt Parkplätze. Als ich eincheckte, sagte das Personal nur, dass es nicht verfügbar war und geführt mich in die Nähe durch den Parkplatz, wo ich Gebühr zahlen muss. Die Mitarbeiter am Check-in waren nicht so freundlich, im Gegensatz zu den Mitarbeitern am Frühstückseingang und vor dem Aufzug, sie waren sehr hilfreich und freundlich. Das Zimmer war sauber und wir haben die Aussicht, wo wir die Hauptbahnhofs sehen können.

Clean is small but super clean and comfy. Breakfast choice was good and changed every day throughout the entire 3 days of stay. The additional plus point would be the free laundry room at Ground Floor which you can wash for your clothes and dry them free. Staffs are polite and kind to assist you with any enquires that you have. All in all, a pleasant stay at City Inn Hotel (Taichung) and would return again for the same hotel the next trip. Lastly kudos to staff - Emma who has helped to maintain the cleanliness of Room 701 throughout the entire 3 days. Appreciate your effort. Thank you 😊
